My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in Riverside and moved to LA 3 years ago to shorten my commute... people always try to probe me for a story about moving to LA to chase my dreams. Sorry dudes, I'm just one of these practical chicks. I'd like to come up with some crazy story to tell those that ask... that's a dream I'm actually chasing.

My dogs are old, mellow, chubby and awesome. A chubby dog is a happy dog, imo. I think I feel the same way about men, because I have feeder tendencies.

I tend to get along with most people and keep an open enough mind that I can say I generally enjoy most things (except heights and motorcycles and scary movies). The emotions of my daily life teeter somewhere between the lines of apathy and enthusiasm. So if you're into the crazies, I can't help you there.

I am quick witted. But on my own time. I'm not your dancing monkey!

I know a lot of useless facts about stuff that won't ever make me any money and hardly even helps at bar trivia. But if you ever want to know where the word "sandwich" comes from or why chihuahuas are persnickety, I'm your girl!

I've taken the Meyers-Briggs several times, but I can never remember what I am or what it means. But I'm an extrovert and damn good at it, for what it's worth.

At this point of my life I know what I want/like, I know who I am, I have my shit together, work hard and don't settle. Boom. Drop the mic.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been a Respiratory Therapist for about 8 years and have recently started going back to school at General Assembly for UX Design in an attempt to change careers.

So that means I'm at school and work 7 days a week and pretty much only free in the evenings until late Feb. <- fair warning

I think the kind of guy I want to wind up with will see this as a hurdle and not a roadblock.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Gift giving, I kill it on birthdays!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My racial ambiguity, tattoos (bear in mind that I have them, but I am NOT them), long hair, or that I'm a friendly person (hopefully!).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Anything by Jon Ronson. Right now I'm super into biographies and books on design, though my book trends fluctuate year to year.

True Romance, Wayne's World, Battle Royale, Royal Tenenbaums, Brazil, X-Men, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Secretary, Wall-E... Guardians of the Galaxy and Birdman are probably my most recent favorites... my taste is kind of all over the place, as you can see...

Game of Thrones, Married with Children, Orange is the New Black, Diners Drive-Ins & Dives, Silicon Valley, Shark Tank, Futurama, Peaky Blinders, The 100...

Tom Waits, Walk the Moon, SBTRKT, Buddy Holly, St. Lucia, Future Islands, Bleachers, Murder City Devils, The Boss, Against Me!, Cursed, Lifetime, David Bowie, Otis Redding, Talking Heads, Twin Shadow, Black Flag (Morris > Rollins), Minor Threat, Bars, Phantogram, Robyn, The Zombies, Crystal Castles, Refused, Little Dragon, Ratatat, Pulp, etc... The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My Korean house slippies
2) Doggy doo-doo bags (Seriously, when I'm caught without one I feel so guilty)
3) DVR
4) Deadpan people
5) Google Calendar (I'd forget my life if I didn't have a reminder set for absolutely everything)
6) A glass of wine after a long day
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

You feel like your life is complete except you need an awesome lady to laugh at life's idiosyncrasies with... and it'd be even better if she had 2 chubby, old dogs. A package deal, if you will. ;)
