My self-summary Propose an edit
I'm just looking to meet some people. I'm a grad student in
engineering in
the Bay Area. I like science fiction, music,
photography.
I'm trying to learn to play the electric guitar. I grew up in Wisconsin. In Cali,
I'm learning to live with no snow and it's not bad. I like playing
computer
games especially Guild Wars and Diablo, though now I've started playing
WoW.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
At the moment, working towards my masters degree in mechanical
engineering at Stanford... then transitioning to the
phd program.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
Books - i read pretty much everything. Tend to focus on science fiction
and fantasy but
also pick up a biography, "classic", or mystery novel
Movies - never seen a horror movie, but watch all the action,
comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, adventure movies that sound good. This
summer I saw all kinds of movies from Iron Man to Kung Fu
Panda.
Music - country, jazz, some pop music, ...
Food - "american" food... learning to branch out and get more
flavorful entrees, but what other people consider mild, i can't
always handle
