My self-summary
I am sweet, caring, creative, and rock to be relied on.

I really value humor and laughing in my life. My group of friends and my family are really important to me, I appreciate them more every year.

Taking in as many movies, television shows, books, comics, and music as I can possibly digest is probably my biggest hobby. I studied writing and film in school, and hope to some day be a writer, director, editor, or some combination thereof.

I love to relax, read, have a great meal (preferably at a restaurant I've never tried), and go running. Not at the same time. But I probably would if I could. I like taking photographs on trips, or taking adventures specifically for photography (and the journey). When hanging out with friends, a board game can be just the thing to socialize while engaging my mind and having fun.

I'm not organized but I like organizing, somehow the process is cathartic to me. I'm currently looking for ways to tap back into the imagination that led me when I was younger.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for Hulu and find it an incredibly fulfilling experience. I grow and learn every day I go into work and I get to work alongside numerous long-time friends as well as great people who I met at the job.

Long term I'm trying to get into a creative career of some sort, either writing (screenplays, novels, etc) or film (directing, writing, editing).

In the past I've done some freelance writing, anything from spotlights on film-related companies to stuff that's much more creative to the opposite end completely with boring how-tos.

I ran my own film criticism website for about a year, it served as a great place to talk about my passions in both written and podcast form.
I’m really good at
Writing, computers and electronics, listening, solving problems, board games, daydreaming, analyzing story.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've gotten a lot of comments about my blue eyes and my "boisterous" laugh. On and off I grow a damn good beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I get carried away with this type of stuff... I'm passionate about it and it brings me joy.
