I am happy, friendly, and curious.

My Self-Summary

I come across as a little intense in writing--I'm a writer by profession and it just seems to happen that way. I'm not so attentive to these profiles, I find the questions restrictive, since I don't have a black or white answer for any question--except one.

I got this theory on human relations that derives from honesty--not always so easy to find. I'm a writer, so the line I started from was one I developed, goes like this: I need honesty from people. And I find it very hard to get people to be honest with me who cannot be honest with themselves.

I don't think like most people, especially when it comes to dating. I don't play "hard to get." I would not be interested in--nor even attracted to--someone who likes me better when I ignore him. I don't think that kind of attention makes me more desirable, I think it makes him pathological. Also, I am not a woman that needs to be called every night, nor even every three nights, but I refuse to be treated like I am rushing a man down the aisle if I happen to call him two nights in a row.

I think this about paraphrases my marriage experience: "When I eventually met Mr. Right I had no idea that his first name was Always" (Rita Rudner).

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a Writer after leaving my 15-year career in Healthcare (I started young).

I’m really good at

Wouldn't you just like to know.

The first things people usually notice about me

Usually my humor quickly shines through.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Book: A Prayer For Owen Meany (John Irving).
Music: Too much to list. Eclectic.
Food: Not a big eater, but Italian and Sushi top the list.

The six things I could never do without

What props me up as a person isn't what I want my friendships & dating life to start out to be about, but one I'll list, since it keeps me dating, is:

Hope.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to get out of my head all the time about things.

On a typical Friday night I am

Lately, home.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm partially left-handed--in things like Swimming, Dancing, and Tae Kwon Do.

You should message me if

You want to get to know me better. Kindness counts, and ultimately honesty, but only if you understand that honesty and being a gentleman are not mutually exclusive, get where I'm coming from?

Cheers.
