My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a person who is interested in many things. I love to learn, explore, exercise, discuss ideas, and have fun. My main passion is attempting to understand the universe :)

When I am not at work I try and stay active by going to the gym. I also like to do active hobbies and volunteer when I can.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am graduate student studying theoretical physics. Basically, that means "I think about stuff...and I write some of it down" [quote credit to big bang theory].

I also work out a lot and try to learn new things. Currently I am trying to understand personal nutrition.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
getting lost but discovering new things in town,
spending a lot of money on books,
and Physics,
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not sure... life is too short to worry about first impressions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I read a lot for work so I rarely find the time to read for leisure, but when I do I tend to go for either political/philosophical books or sci-fi/fantasy. Oh, and history books are good as well. I really enjoy analyzing the behaviors of ancient people.

Movies: I have a wide range of movie interest. From musicals (Moulin Rouge is awesome!) to bad action movies. For me a good movie is one which either
1.) makes me wonder about the future of mankind or
2.) has a story to tell about a good person making hard moral choices (I like a good moral-hero story).

Shows: I enjoy shows similar to my movie preferences above but, I also like good comedy shows. For some reason, I enjoy comedy shows but comedy movies don't do it for me :-/

Oh and Caballeros del Zodiaco is awesome!

Music: Classical, country, pop, rock, techno.

Food: Chicken Tikka Masala is my favorite food :) I also enjoy steak, Chicago style pizza, and good salads.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Nature, and walking around in it :)

Walking through the stacks of a good bookstore.

The joy that comes when solving a complex problem.

Awesome architecture

The internet (I love living in the information age!).

A computer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether or not we will have star-ships in a century...seriously it would be awesome if we had them :D

Also, I spend much time thinking about the universe, morality, social behavior, nutrition (so confusing!), exercise routines, what to do in berkeley/SF, the future of our species, and what we can do to save and better our future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Really hard to say. Friday nights can vary dramatically. For example, one Friday I can be having a discussion with friends and another I could be in the city at some event.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a strange fascination with making sure I can do a one handed push-up throughout my life.

You have a good quote to share. My favorite is:
