My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Jake. I'm coming to terms with the fact that I don't know how to turn down a cookie. Seriously. If you give me a cookie, I'm yours.

I probably eat tacos way too much. I sleep with comic books next to my bed. I'm definitely a total goofball but I'm also really blunt and don't like to beat around the bush and if someone is the same way it's pretty much the key to my heart. Coffee shop dates beat everything. I'm a sucker for cute stuff.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Seeing every movie I can. Probably reading something on Wikipedia. Constantly seeking self-improvement.

Singing for a hardcore band.

Working at a bar and explaining why I don't drink at least once a shift (That might sound like a complaint but it's not. I find it interesting when people are engaged in learning another's perspective).

I wanna be a visionary when I grow up.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dancing around at work and not being good at dancing.

Netflixing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The hair on my head is a darkish strawberry blonde. my eyebrows are straight blonde. my facial hair is a lighter reddish or strawberry blonde. I'm a Frankenstein of Lucky Charms proportion. If I were any more Irish, I'd be soda bread.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: I've been slacking on my book reading lately. But one of my favorite books is "Love In The Time Of Cholera" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I've read a lot of Kurt Vonnegut and Chuck Palahniuk, pretty much everything by Brad Meltzer, and I love anything having to do with the history of punk.

Comics books. Mostly DC stuff. Batman, Deadly Class, Bravest Warriors, Watchmen, X-Men: Age of Apocalypse.

Movies: True Romance, JAWS, The Alien movies, Perks of Being A Wallflower, Moonrise Kingdom, Spring Breakers, Inception, Up, Punch Drunk Love, Drive, The Future Is Unwritten: Joe Strummer, The Nolan Dark Knight Trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Her.

Music: Shai Hulud, Glen Hansard, Frank Turner, Bane, Bon Iver, Joe Strummer, Fleet Foxes, Thrice, P.O.S, Beastie Boys, Glassjaw, The Menzingers, Propagandhi, Comeback Kid, Behemoth, Dropkick Murphys, Atmosphere, Murs, Childish Gambino, Modern Baseball, Floorpunch, Ten Yard Fight, Champion, Sinking Ships, Fairweather, Doomriders, Integrity... I could pretty much go on forever.

TV Shows: Breaking Bad, The Following, Archer, Game of Thrones, Arrow, Walking Dead, Parenthood, New Girl, wrestling (WWE Network... It's a beautiful, beautiful thing.)

Probably my self-worth, most importantly. All the other ones are just kind of stuff I like. I'm the most loyal friend/boyfriend/etc. you'll find but if I feel I'm being taken advantage of or not being appreciated, I have no problem removing myself from that equation.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How miniscule the things so many of us worry about on a daily basis actually are when we trap ourselves in our own points of views. The universe is a big place of things that vanish into nothing or explode into fragments of something new that will last way longer than any petty thing we let blind us from enjoying our lives. The world is huge to us, as no more than a population of evolved animals. For each situation where things go wrong, there's always gonna be the opposite where everything goes equally right, as long as you're coming from a place of honesty and genuity. Don't let the little things get you down. Let the important things keep you going while you have them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I grew up without my dad in my life for the better part of my childhood, so when it comes to being a man as an adult, I've really had to teach myself most of that.

I give a pretty awesome massage.

if you'll sit at a coffee shop and drink chai tea with me.

you like movies or have ever read a comic book cover to cover.

you don't have a problem being the girl with the guy that doesn't drink. I certainly don't look down on anyone because of what they do or don't do, and in turn hope someone wouldn't look down on me because of my choices.

really if you just want to. you don't need a reason. If you wanna make a new friend, I always have room for one more.
