My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I graduated with degrees in Finance ('10) and Physics ('12) from Loyola University Chicago.

I start working in the aviation industry as a senior analyst in August of 2014, a field
that has captured my attention since I've been a kid.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Get a pilot's license
Trying to get into grad school for Aerospace Engineering.

I think it would be cool to fly around the world. That part might take a while to set up though.

Researching the history of airline color schemes. I have two projects that will feed into. It's amazing how many tiny variations an airline can have that to most people look identical.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Anything Math and Science related. Those subjects never scared me in school. I even have a good story about one of my professors from freshman year (I won't just tell you right away, I want to keep somethings for later).

If it has to do with computers, I either know it, or can figure it out pretty quickly. Plus, I do some 3d Modeling and CAD. I also tend to us VBA and SQL a lot for work.

Spotting unusual coins and bills in pocket change. So far, I have found a silver dime, quarter, half dollar, and dollar just in pocket change.

Being able to distinguish different airliners apart. My family always teases me on this one. According to them, I can tell the model, the airline, where it is flying, and what the pilot ate for breakfast, all by just hearing the airplane.

I also play Basketball, Soccer, and work out whenever I can.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd have to guess how tall I am. I'm typically one of tge tallest, if not the tallest, guys in a group.

My passion for aviation. As I said, my family gives me a hard time about it.

I also tend to be a either a big goofball or a giant teddybear. Take your pick.

Not sure why this site thinks I am more aggressive that most people. With business or sports, sure, I can be aggressive in trying to get what I want, but in social interactions, I am pretty calm.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: If it's by Tom Clancy, I have read it. Anything like that, I will probably enjoy
The Harry Potter Series.

I am not liking all the side plots that keep getting chopped out from the movies, but that is true for almost any book turned movie.

Movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Patriot Games, The Hunt for Red October, V for Vendetta

Shows:Mythbusters, Modern Marvels, Arrested Development, Dr. Who. I watch Discovery Channel and History Channel a lot.

Music:Techno, Trance, ATB, Oakenfold, Armin van Buuren, Fatboy Slim, Deadmau5, Dirty Vegas, Imagine Dragons, One Republic etc...
I have been listening to a lot of older music recently also. .

Food: Oh boy, just about anything. Then only thing I won't eat is asparagus. I just can't stand the taste of it.

Other: George Carlin is probably my favorite comedian of all time. I've seen Demitri Martin, Lewis Black, and Joel McHale live.

Am I missing an eyebrow?

I reject your reality and substitute in my own.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends
My job
Good music
My laptop
My cell phone
My car
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Quantum Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Gradients, Curls, Partial Derivatives, Integrals. That was last year. Whoops, I'm still thinking about those since I am trying to get into grad school for Aerospace Engineering.

If I should get a twitter account or not. Done, I have one. I don't tweet much though.

Aviation, flying, and getting flying lessons.

Improving my skills in a variety of different things.

Coursera courses.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Option A) Out at a bar with my buddies to have a fun night.
Option B) On the computer programming/modeling/graphics, etc... to have a calm night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I haven't really done anything to get a pilots license yet. I easily could have gotten it years ago. Now that I am out of college and working, I will be changing that very soon.
