I am curious, intelligent, and quiet.
My Self-Summary
I love to read and learn new things, primarily within the sciences,
but also within the arts. I have a B.S. in Mathematics, and I'd
like to pursue a research position involving math, but I'm not sure
on which field I'd like to specialize.
I am
I_Say_Yeah's older brother. He may be
freaking tall, but I can grow a beard. Ha!
I am currently going through a divorce. I am still friends with my
ex, but after two years of marriage we came to the realization that
we weren't really compatible with each other and that we had gotten
married too soon. You can ask me more about it, if you wish.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working a boring 9 to 5 to pay off my bills, but it's
just temporary. I recently got readmitted to my Alma Mater, the
University of Kentucky, and I'm going for a B.S. in Physics. From
there, I'm either going to stay at UK or go to graduate school for
a Doctorate in Mathematics.
I'm working to get back into shape. Over the past five years I've
let myself turn to flab, but I've resolved to change that. I'm
staying physically active on a daily basis, whether I'm working out
at the gym, jogging or just taking a walk. I have no illusions that
I'll have a body builder's body, but I do want to live generally
healthier life and have a trimmer physique.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at solving problems and puzzles. I really enjoy
finding patterns and relationships in data sets.
The first things people usually notice about me
When people first meet me, they notice how quiet I am, but once we
start talking, I can hold my end of a conversation, especially if
we're talking about something related to science, math or
philosophy.

The six things I could never do without
I have to have a notebook and pens, a book to read, comfortable
shoes, my eyeglasses, caffeine and my backpack to haul it all in.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about the fate of the world. I don't
like war, despite having fought in Iraq, and I think about how to
avert it. I think that it requires a fundamental change in thinking
of all people, not just the politicians.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I generally don't mind sharing private information, but I would
like to get to know you a little first.
If you must know something, though, then I'm a bit of a sap. I
really don't mind watching so called "chick flicks." I really
enjoyed "Love Actually" and "Goodbye Girl."
You should message me if
You like intelligent conversation and enjoy goofing off.
You'd like to grab a cup of coffee or some sushi.
You are looking for a new friend to hang out with.
