My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born and raised in the strange land of Santa Cruz. I have always loved science, and in recent years, been most interested in physics. I watched a lot of anime in High School, and later studied abroad in Japan. I've always had a love of the outdoors, like backpacking in the Sierras, camping in the coastal redwoods. My parents are both musical, and I studied piano, flute, and singing (my favorite) when I was young. Since college, I've done a lot of reading. I occasionally write poetry and short stories, mostly science fiction.

I'm self-reflecting, emotionally open, and earnest. I enjoy both intellectual conversation and being carefree, quirky, and silly.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as a web programmer at a video game company. For 10 years I've ran a popular music sharing website. I like to go hiking and bike riding to keep in shape, and also to enjoy nature. I like to read science news, but am often disappointing by misrepresentation of science, which I try my best to demystify on my science blog.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
