My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! Why should you want get to know me?

Well, I'm a decent, fun, cultured, kind, intelligent, quirky, chap. I love history, politics/current affairs, architecture, environmental issues, reading, having interesting conversations and eating good food - preferably at the same time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Who doesn't want to say "saving the world"?

Working at university keeps me busy during the day. Sadly not quite honing my superhero skills but I am generally having an awesome time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking about politics without raising my voice. And the environment. Ooh and tea. Or in other words I am good at talking but that doesn't mean I am not a good listener.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I enjoy fiction but I can mostly be found with my nose in something factual.

Movies: The White Ribbon, The Pillow Book, Brokeback Mountain, Goodbye Lenin, Flash Gordon (I know, I know!)

TV/Radio: mostly BBC 4 and Radio 4 things. History/Art/Current Affairs/etc. Have been into those Scandi-dramas recently, like Borgen and Wallander.

Music: "eclectic and broad". Classical, folk, pop, rock, indie, jazz, etc.

Food: Most things, except whole animals with wiggly bits (which rules out most sea food and insects) and raw tomatoes (Devils Fruit).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Love (giving and receiving)
Friendship
Intellectual stimulation (learning/developing, debating/discussing, books, radio 4)
Quality sensory stimulation (food, music, sex, scenery, men, affection, etc.)
Freedom
Tea
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Currently:
How we could change the way we live/shop/travel/build/etc, to radically reduce our impact on the environment.
How we could reform our institutions to improve our democracy - particularly concentrating on electoral reform.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Such pressure to say something cool....Well no Friday night is ever the same. Take that internet!
