My Self-Summary
I am originally from Dallas, Texas and moved to California three
years ago. Dance has been a huge part of my life since I was young
and I now teach dance at a private school. I moved to California
for grad school to get my masters in Dance. After I graduated, I
found a full-time position so I stuck around.
I’m really good at
teaching kids, making homemade cookies, texting in complete
sentences with correct spelling and grammar, listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not sure? Probably my eyes.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite authors are Jeffrey Eugenides and Sophie Kinsella. Love
Actually, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Elizabethtown
are some of my favorite girly movies. As far as music, I listen to
a huge variety because I teach about ten different types of dance
but a few of my favorite artists are Sara Bareilles, Kings of Leon
and John Mayer. Being a Texas girl I definitely love a meal of
steak and potatoes or TexMex. However, I can't eat like that very
often!
The six things I could never do without
my family, friends, a dance studio, music, sparkling water and cell
phone (laptop and coffee are 7 and 8)
On a typical Friday night I am
at a high school varsity football game. I coach varsity
cheerleaders in addition to teaching dance so I have to hang out at
the games during the football season. After football season, I
usually use Fridays as my day to decompress from the week so I will
cook at home, watch a movie and relax. If I go out, it will usually
be on Saturdays.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I just recently lost my dad. I held his hand as he took his last
breath. The experience had a huge impact on me. It was the hardest
thing I have ever had to do but I am so glad I was there with him.
The reason I mention such a personal thing on a website is because
losing him made me realize what is really important to me; I know
this sounds cliche but it is completely true.
You should message me if
you are looking for an honest, smart, caring woman to get to know
better. I am not looking to "hook up" or take care of anyone. I
need a strong, honest man who isn't scared to love someone.
