My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Jamie.

I am intense, honest and introverted. I love history, literature, philosophy and nature documentaries. I'm queer, a feminist ally, socialist, and atheist. I think I come off as super pretentious, but the only thing I'm actually insufferable about is music. And I keep it all tightly under wraps if I'm not sure about my company.

Music is the most important part of my life: I am the frontman of a garage punk band. It is over here: http://thearchelons.bandcamp.com

I am pretty insecure, and take some time to get close to people, but I'm a very loyal and reliable friend, once I get comfortable. And once I'm past a certain level of comfortable, I loooove to talk. Forever. About everything.

Lately I'm in a pretty great relationship with a pretty amazing person! We're both very progressive and open, so that isn't a bar to potential interest, but I AM pretty lazy, so I'm not super likely to want for more Serious Dating partners currently.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I'm trying the "being in a band" thing, which is pretty rewarding and fun. The main things I need in my life are music, coffee, video games, animals, and people to talk with about them, so it's all going pretty well.

I work at an Office Job, trying to maybe get some technical skills, and listen to lots of music, podcasts, and sometimes audiobooks.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Spelling, musicology, public speaking
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair is no longer super-crazy. I guess you wouldn't notice that unless you knew me in the last year-ish...

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Music
2. Coffee
3. Hugs
4. Philosophy
5. Board and video games
6. Wikipedia
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The List: whenever I use a new word for the first time, I get to add it to The List and my brain gives me a rush of endorphins. The List isn't a literal, real thing, but I feel like I can tell if I'm using a new word. It's pretty dorky.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing video games and music or taking in a show downtown.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I really (like really) like giving head. I am intermittently very embarrassed about having noted this here, but I think prob people are often hoping for a Saucy admission here so. Whatever.
