I am a nice guy who treats everyone the way i would like to be treated. I have been divorced for about 2 years now. My ex and i are on good terms so i do not have any baby mama drama. I was married for 8 years and have a 5 y/o little girl. She is with me part time & anyone i meet here as friend or more would have to be cool with going to do some kid related things. Like you didn't want to see the new Ice Age in 3D anyway!! I was a photographer in the Navy for five years, but it just was not for me to stay in; I wanted a family & that is just not something i could do while in. I am now working at a pediatric home health agency in Ft. Lauderdale & like to go to the beach, zoo, parks, concerts & shows. I used to go snorkeling, diving & fishing before the navy but do not have anyone to do those with anymore, so that would be a plus if someone was interested in those. I am easygoing, positive, quiet until i get to know you, i do not get jealous, lie or cheat & expect the same. I would like to find someone to share good times with & see what develops from there. One of my favorite books is Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein, but i am currently reading the Dark Tower series by Steven King. I listen to everything but country but I favor alternative, punk, ska, industrial, Hip Hop & classic rock. My favorite band is The Beastie Boys & have seen them 4 or 5 time. I enjoy all food & will try anything at least once.
I also like Kahlil Gibran. One of my favorite passages from The Prophet is about children:

What i am going to do when my daughter starts dating.

Either spending time with my daughter, hanging out at home, spending time with family or friends. Movies & dinner. I do not mind going to a dive bar and hanging out but i am not the type to go out drinking regularly.

I couldn't think of anything until i was driving to work singing along to Depeche Mode "Strangelove" when i realized that i like to sing 80's new wave songs when I'm in the car alone, because i have a horrible singing voice.
