Relatively new to Seattle. Moved here from the Midwest for a job
and to be "closer" to the family. Yeehaw! I'm still figuring out
the city and the surrounding areas. Love traveling, biking,
running, swimming, checking out new restaurants, theatres, musical
performances, nice weather, New York Times, good friends, and, oh,
a planet called earth. Try to be green as much as I can. This
little planet needs some love too. Did I tell you I'm an NPR nerd
and I love to cuddle, especially on a rainy day? Good thing I have
a dog to keep me company.
What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying my career, taking care of myself, and living my life as if
there's no tomorrow :-) I don't take things for granted. Life is
too short. And, I appreciate every minute of it.
I’m really good at
That's a good question! Let's see... I'm going to say... I'm a good
listener. And I make decent Thai food. I am also good at finding
deals on airfare!
The first things people usually notice about me
The six things I could never do without
1. NPR: I listen to it everyday. It's soothing :-)
2. My tablet: I read my books, news, and magazines on it. I listen
to music on it. I watch shows on it. I look up stuff on it. I just
wish it would clean for me too.
3. Exercise: I go crazy if I haven't exercised for a couple days.
Really, I'm serious.
4. My iPod with rockin' music while I am running: Not rock music,
but more like upbeat music (is that basically a butch word for
5. Good running shoes & Garmin: Use them everyday.
6. Good friends: I don't talk to them often enough. But you know
what they say about good friends. You don't need to talk to them
everyday. But when you reconnect, it's like you're never apart.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Next travel destination!
On a typical Friday night I am
Winding down from the week. Either hanging out with friends or
staying at home with a glass of wine and a good show or a movie. I
also might be dining out somewhere I haven't been to or haven't
been to in a long time. But of course, that's after the gym ;-)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If it was private, of course, I wouldn't put it on here. Let's just
say... I'll tell you when we get to know each other better. How
does that sound?
You should message me if
You are a good person with a big heart.
