My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Drunk girl at the Get Up Kids show.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to bring back Livejournal.

(Bartending/cooking to pay the bills. Writing to stay sane.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Run on sentences and sentence fragments. Finding the silver lining. Dancing. Remembering completely insignificant details and the lyrics to everysongever.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably the red glasses, or the fact that I'm usually doublefisting a bottle of champagne and a cup of coffee.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I have a major obsession with Richard Brautigan. I own a copy of the wildly popular What You Can Do To Avoid Aids by Magic Johnson. It's brilliant, I promise you. Anyway... Beat Generation, Tom Robbins, classics, Roald Dahl, non-fiction about music/artists/writers, and I'm a sucker for poetry. And Perks will forever be one of my favourites. (Worst list ever. I own about 900 books. I want to list them all.)

Movies: Annie Hall, Over The Top, The Way We Were, Storytelling, Brick, Melancholia, Bright Star, Tart, Lars and the Real Girl, Me Without You, Sick Girl, Mary Poppins, Empire Records, ALL Christmas movies (especially Elf), 90's romantic comedies, and any horror movie you put in front of me, the worse the better.

Shows: Anything that was created for high school girls, and the Twilight Zone.

Music: The Mountain Goats, Saetia, Kind Of Like Spitting, The Eels, Bright Eyes, Rilo Kiley, Father John Misty, Jeffrey Lewis, Goth Brooks, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra. And forever and always Saves the Day, Knapsack, Brand New, Mineral, Taking Back Sunday, Get Up Kids, Reggie, and all those other bands I listened to during the good part of high school. And T Swift. Obv.

Food: Brunch. Sushi. Peanut butter and bananas. I put spinach and mushrooms on/in almost everything. Butternut squash bisque is probably the greatest thing ever. And almond joy ice cream is my biggest weakness. No meat or poultry because I value the lives of land creatures more than I do sea creatures.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Composition notebooks, cheap champagne and expensive coffee, old musty books, sing-a-longs, live music, and my familyfriendskittens.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What's happening around me, except in choreographed song and dance.
And how much I love facial hair.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Embarrassing myself.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Tell All Your Friends will forever be one of my favourite albums.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to make me a mixtape.
