My Self-Summary
Hi.
I'm Jarno, 22 years old, and now a student of Applied Mathematics in Eindhoven. Most people would think mathematics is boring, but in fact it is fascinating and is very useful, as it can be found anywhere.
It's hard for me to write a summary about my self. I will try it anyway. I'm now studying for almost 4 years, and the last 1,5 year I'm living on my own in Eindhoven. That's really nice, because I can do what I like. It was also very handy during my time in the board of the study association, as i didn't have to wait for the bus anymore.
I spend lot's of my spare time reading books (see below). Or just watching tv, surfing the internet.
I'm not a great sports fan but I do go swimming once a week. Moreover I like to go outdoors for walking or cycling. During vacations I like going outdoors. For example, last year I have been to Sweden to walk a big hike: the Vasalopet. It was walking 75km in 5 days trough beautiful nature, forests, lakes and small villages.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm now focussing on my studies. I have to study one more year of
normal courses, and then 9 months for a graduation project. I would
like to go abroad for the project, but that's not fixed yet.
I’m really good at
Just spending time, doing nothing and day dreaming.
I'm also good at reasoning thinks out. I always try to explain things I see or hear.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books is easy. I'm addicted to reading (epic) fantasy books. Some favorites:
"The Wheel
of Time" of Robert Jordan, "Mistborn" of Brandon Sanderson,

Feist, Tad
Williams, Terry Goodkind. And i could
continu for some time. Other genres I like are thrillers form
authors like Rober Ludlum, Dan Brown and David Baldacci, but also

I don't watch much movies. I do like movies like: "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, The Matrix and Stardust. I do watch some TV series. I enjoyed NCIS, House,Star Trek: Voyager and Wie is de Mol.
My music taste is hard to describe. I listen to a lot of music, from classical music to pop or country. I do like celtic music and John Denver. I don't like house, dance, R&B.
I don't have a favorite dish. I do like food from asia, and europe. I;m not a fan of fast food, so you will only find me at the big M during foreign trips or to get a milk shake.

On a typical Friday night I am
At home on the couch. Either watching tv, or a movie (internet
thanks!, reading a book or surfing the internet. Or when i'm at my
parents talking with my family.
