I am ecclectic, spontanious, and just plain fun.
My Self-Summary
Hi there and thanks for taking the time to read all of my
ramblings. The demanding little robot say I must type a hundred
words to describe myself. Sheesh. Well I’m just me. I’m far from
average I guess one could say. I have very little patience for
average and boring. My life isn’t by any means action packed but
I’m pretty happy with it being quirky and fun. I’m a tattooed,
pierced, thrift store loving girl who still plays with bugs and
snakes. I’ve always got a book on or near me and my friends tease
me mercilessly about this fact. I majored in English Lit in college
so I pretend that’s a legit way of rationalizing this addiction of
mine. But in reality no, I’m just a bookworm. Oh and to forewarn
you, I really like fragments and this will be full to the brim with
them. I also have an extreme dislike for punctuation but once again
the evil little robot won’t let me write in lowercase letters only.
Anywho, back to me. Since that’s what you’re here to learn about. I
live with a roommate and a house full of animals…yes I’m a huge
animal person. Even my job is working with animals. I love movies
though there’s a spot to write a hundred words on that topic so ill
hold off on that. Music makes my world go around. I really believe
that music really will save our mortal soul as Don Mclean said in
that famous song. I love vinyl and happy a very eclectic and
wonderful collection of my own that I happily play on my 1950’s
record player. I love old crap. With a passion. I own 50’s
hairdryers (I’m too scared of catching my brain on fire so this has
never actually been used) a turquoise formica dining table, a
ventriloquist dummy and ancient taxidermy. I collect and wear
vintage dresses though you’ll either find me in a t-shirt and jeans
or a little mod dress. I had a beautiful little Vespa for a while
but it ended up under a suburban. I drive a VW…a new one but I’ve
owned oldies over the years. I have a pretty good understanding of
the classics an can usually hold my on in a conversation. You don’t
drive an old fastback and not learn a thing or two about them.
What I’m doing with my life
I work full time at a pet store, nothing horribly exciting. I
graduated from ARC and Sac State with my BA in English Literature.
Once I realized that there’s nothing I can do with that extra
useful degree other than teach, I went back to school. Now I’m
enrolled in mortuary school (returning in the spring) with hopes of
having a career in the funeral industry. Please keep any rude
immature comments to yourself if you’d ever like to talk to me
again. Just to let you know.
I’ve been trying to get back into having hobbies, I’ve been a lazy
unmotivated lump for the last few months. I’m very active in the
reptile hobby and I love my critters. I would really like to be
able to find a guy who likes my animals as much as I do…or at the
very least appreciates them. I’m learning to belly dance and I ride
horses. I paint when I can and I love making art out of random bits
of nothing. Thrifting is somewhat of a hobby of mine as well.
I’m really good at
Uum...what am I good at...well I kick ass at scrabble. I'm rather
good at spouting out random bits of useless knowledge. This is such
a ridiculously awkward question when you really think about it. I
find bragging unattractive in general unless you literally are out
there saving the lives of kittens or something. I’m “good” at a lot
of things. I’m “not so good” at a lot of things too. Aren’t we all?
The first things people usually notice about me
Well I wear a of vintage clothing, I have my nose pierced and
occasionally wear glasses. I don’t exactly blend in with the crowd.
But I'm not a total weirdo or anything, so no worries.

MUSIC: i love the classics. I'm very varied on musical tastes, I go
with what makes me feel good at that moment. That could be the
Beatles, The Cure, Black Sabbath, Nina Simone or anything in
between. I stear clear of r&b and country.
The six things I could never do without
Realistically one should say food, clean drinkable water, shelter,
warm clothing etc. But no, here were supposed to say i cant
possibly LIVE without my cell phone and my computer right?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
So random these questions are. Yup that was my yoda voice, enjoy
it. I spend a lot of time thinking about silly things. My friends,
my pets, what i want to do with myself, where i want to travel to,
what i want to do after dinner....the same things all people think
about I imagine.
On a typical Friday night I am
Generally I'd be sitting at home watching endless movies with my
roomie. I don't live the most exciting life and i work at 8 on
saturday so im not a huge partier. I'm not a partier to begin with.
My idea of a bar is a little hole in the wall where you sit in a
little dark corner and talk really close together. Bars full of
loud obnoxious men and scantily clad women are so not my scene.
Eeck.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm scared of slugs.
You should message me if
Feel free to send me a message if you just want some wacky yet
intriguing conversation or if you just hate punctuation and correct
grammar as much as i do...if you think theres no better place to be
than making smores in the middle of nowhere or looking under rocks
and catching snakes...if you love talking books and watching
unknown movies, or if you dont mind being a little eccentric like
me. If all else fails theres no limit on meeting cool new people!
