My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a firm believer that anything is made better by doing it with a smile. So quick, think of something that makes you happy. Smiling yet? If not, try googling "rottweiler puppies".
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Teaching and training in martial arts full time. I get a chance to push people's lives a little bit in the right direction every day and I get paid to do something I absolutely love.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can whistle really well, but only the musical kind, not the fingers-in-the-mouth loud kind. I can also hit someone with a pepperoni slice from across a room.

I've been doing martial arts for 13 years, so I'm pretty good at waxing cars and painting fences, too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My good mood. One of my favorite games to play is "let's see if we can get the miserable cashier to smile".
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
For books, anything by Stephen King, Song of Ice and Fire, Lord of the Rings are my favorites. I'm always open to good book suggestions, though if it has a shirtless man on the cover with wavy hair, I might demand to see some reviews first...

Favorite movies would include The Matrix, Shawshank Redemption, and any super hero or kung fu movie, no matter how awful.

For TV anything that makes me laugh: stand up comedy, the daily show/colbert report.

Favorite foods would be sushi, salmon, anything grilled, and fresh fruits and veggies.

For music my favorite bands are Death Cab for Cutie and Incubus. I will basically listen to anything that has a beat I can pound out on my steering wheel while pretending to be Keith Moon.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Numbered Lists
2. Humor
3. Making competitions out of random things
4. Teaching
5. Good company
6. Trying to get a little bit better every day at something
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Am I a little bit smarter, stronger, or better than I was yesterday?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either relaxing at home after teaching all evening or spending time with my friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I keep a box with all of the drawings and cards that my students have made me over the years to look through if I'm ever having an off day.
