Your Notes
Edit your notesI am musical, entrepreneurial, and tall.
My Self-Summary
I've been through a lot in life, apparently, and some of which has changed me significantly. These phase changes are like those of H2O. I'm old in some ways and very youthful in others. I strive to be real, forth coming, and communicative.
I'm on solid ground as far as my life goes... Cat, dogs, house, great jobs, great friends, and a wonderful (and large) family.
I like to know things, random things, and my mind is built to retain such useless stuff but that doesn't provide real connection.
Music is a driver and as such I'm a DJ and electronic dance music producer. I love to dance. DEMF and the Ann Arbor Art Fair are two of my favorite events each year. I had a radio show for 5 years in Pittsburgh while i went to Carnegie Mellon University for Information Systems (like computer programming with a bit of business mixed in). I've been to many raves, bars, and clubs but I'm mostly about the music which I'm very picky about. My record collection is upward of 2000 of records. Yes, i have two turntables and a microphone.
I was heavily focused on work in my early and late twenties and it's paid off in some ways. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for that. You could say that I'm in a "mini-retirement" from doing consulting work.
I believe that TV is an addiction and so I don't have cable though i will watch Lost, Family Guy, and South Park online sometimes. Once a dude called me up and wanted me to switch to satellite TV. When i said I didn't watch TV he thought i was lying. LOL. "Everyone has cable!" the buffoon said.
My leanings are socially very liberal and financially conservative. My quiz says I'm a socialist. We need to take much better care of our environment. It's too big to fail. Every dollar invested in the environment is saving at least 10 in the next few hundred years.
Our politicians are corrupt mofos. I'm all for universal health care, green energy development, gay marriage (it is a civil rights issue after all, up there with Women's rights and African American rights), the right to choose, splitting up companies deemed "to big to fail" so they can fail, removing corporate personhood, stopping all war, environmental rights, and animal rights to name a few things.
I listen to Democracy Now religiously and love talk radio. Staying informed is key to understanding reality.
Being is a state of mind. Bonus points if you know the movie that ends with that line

Getting to the heart of the issue
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm seriously tall and, from what i'm told, cute. I'm also thin and athletic.
Mentally, people tend to notice a sharp acumen. Sometimes I'm really funny depending on the situation and my mood.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love cheese, chocolate, guacamole, veggie pizza, fresh bread, morning star, eggs, XXX Super Hot Salsa, and cheese.
Books are awesome. I need to read more but my attention span has been lacking recently. I read most of "4 hour work week" and loved it. But there are so many great books out there. Collapse, Freakonomics, Godel Esher Bach, Omnivores Dilemma, Elegant Universe. Mostly non-fiction.
Music has a special place in my heart. It's genetic. Seriously! I've got too many GB of music to listen to, too many pieces of vinyl, too many CDs, all kinds of serious melodies and rhythms floating through my head. Did i mention that i love electronic dance music? I heart the Global Underground CDs and Essential mixes. If you have some i'll trade you! I've got a hundred or so essential mixes ranging from 2 hours to 9 hours. Nick Warren, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Mo Shic, Plump DJs, and Danny Howells to name a few.
I'm a big fan of movies. They are my preferred consumption of videos. My netflix is philled with an eclectic collection of comedy, romance, horror, thrillers, mystery, foreign, LGBT, anime, and then some. I prefer "messed up" movies like the way the Coen Brothers do it. Bonus points if you can list 4 Coen Brothers Movies off the top of your head. Wikipedia and Googling doesn't count. I have a fascination with how mental illnesses are portrayed on screen such as "A Beautiful Mind", "Girl, Interrupted", "50 First Dates", and "Fight Club" to name a few.
The six things I could never do without
Computers to keep be busy
Exercise to stay mentally fit
Sleep that will always remind me of what it means to be awake
Friends and Family
Gravity
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If you look at religion through the lens of quantum mechanics, then all religions have equal probability of being "correct." This means that they are all fundamentally the same. So they are _all_ correct or they are _all_ wrong together. By definition, most religions are mutually exclusive. This removes the option of them all being correct. The only logical conclusion is that they are all wrong. Given that god is indeterminate, then the concept of religion is thus irrelevant
On a typical Friday night I am
Some Friday night i'll just get messed up and write music. These are great nights. Coming up with a killer synth line is fabu! Nothing like having a new hook stuck in my head for two weeks!!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You should message me if
You must at least tolerate electronic dance music b/c my life is filled with it.
