Before coming to Charlotte, I grew up in Michigan and spent four years in the Marine Corps. I moved to Charlotte after that experience and love this city. Now that I'm here, I spend a lot of my time being involved in volunteerism, school, playing music (piano, bass, guitar, accordion, voice), making plans, and running. Recognizing appropriate times for humor and seriousness, I do a pretty good job at making the most of both.

I'm studying History and minoring in English to prepare for a grad
program. Currently in the law school application process, I hope to
work in public interest law someday.
