My name is Jared. I'm a little bit nerdy. I like music, reading, politics, and watching good movies and television. I love music for the emotions it conjures up, regardless of genre. I enjoy reading for both entertainment and information, such as a newspaper. I'm an aspiring author, but I have not had my creative work published yet. I'm very active politically, and politics is something I'm very passionate about. I'm also very opinionated on a wide range of topics, but not overbearing with it in polite company. I'm open-minded and willing to try and experience new things. I'm a very open and honest person. I may be creative and I may joke around at times, but I will not outright lie. I hate liars.

Every woman I've ever dated has said she noticed my eyes and my nice, though sometimes nervous demeanor. My smile seems to get compliments, too. And, of course I am a big guy.

Books: mostly horror and thriller and classics when reading fiction, but I do enjoy nonfiction as well, especially books on philosophy and politics. My Favorite authors are Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, Ayn Rand, Ann Rice, Voltaire, Kurt Vonnegut, and F. Paul Wilson

Movies: horror, comedy, and comic book movies mostly, but I'll watch films from any genre if they are good.

Despite my desire to become a published horror novelist and filmmaker, I'm really just a hopeless romantic at heart.
