Well I guess I'm somewhat of a yuppie these days, or at least fit
the profile of one. I'm a hedge analyst for a bank, something I
never saw myself doing but I'm having fun at it. I tend to
gravitate towards those whom I can learn from so I can have real
discussions over some good beer/wine.
What I’m doing with my life
I am working an office job and traveling a bit for both leisure and work. I actually get to apply my education to the real world, sounds weird don't it? Also wondering why I'm trying online dating.
I’m really good at
Economics and reading the financial markets. Also good at other
things, but forgot what they are, just ask. INTJ over here if you
know of Meyers-Briggs
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Any book Neil deGrasse Tyson writes or his podcasts. I read mostly graphs and articles, not so many books Other than Game of Fucking Thrones... so addicted.
Daily Show, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Arrested Development, Bob's Burgers, South Park, Star Trek, Walking Dead, Mad Men, Top Gear UK, Dr. Who, Community to name a few. Netflix really
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lately its been about the economy, there is a lot of shit going on and its fun to analyze. I'm also in to science stuff, and self proclaimed astronomy buff. I'm an information sponge and love to talk/debate about anything. Knowing what makes people tick is important to me, specifically understanding ones incentives and how they relate to decision making. I care more about WHY people think the way they do and much less what they think.
On a typical Friday night I am
Drinking with friends or staying in, or both I guess. Counts on my
mood really, I cave to peer pressure easily in this kind of matter
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't have a car. Bike/bus do me fine.
You should message me if
You are genuinely into nice guys. Also if you get turned on by long
talks about the Fed and monetary policy, I can go on for days. I
know that one is a long shot, but a man has to try right?
