My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well I guess I'm somewhat of a yuppie these days, or at least fit the profile of one. I'm a hedge analyst for a bank, something I never saw myself doing but I'm having fun at it. I tend to gravitate towards those whom I can learn from so I can have real discussions over some good beer/wine.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am working an office job and traveling a bit for both leisure and work. I actually get to apply my education to the real world, sounds weird don't it?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Economics and reading the financial markets. Also good at other things, but forgot what they are, just ask. INTJ over here if you know of Meyers-Briggs
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Any book Neil deGrasse Tyson writes or his podcasts. I read mostly graphs and articles, not so many books.

Daily Show, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Arrested Development, Bob's Burgers, South Park, Star Trek, Walking Dead, Mad Men, Top Gear UK, Dr. Who to name a few.

As for music, my favorite band is Social Distortion and my favorite song for the past few years has been Timezone by Sander Van Doorn. Its best not to play country around me because I might sing along. Its a side effect from growing up in small town Wisconsin :P In general anything with a good beat or well written lyrics is fine in my book

I like to grill out and cook from time to time, I'll eat pretty much anything that is good and not overly greasy. I go crazy for anything with avocado in it and I recently developed a sushi addiction that has to be itched weekly, sometimes twice a week. I'm not a fan of the whole organic movement because I've been spoiled with homegrown fruits and veggies all my life.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Buffalo/ranch sauce
Putting a slash next to words so it looks like 1 item when it's actually 2
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately its been about the economy and a little about health care reform. I'm also into science stuff, and self proclaimed astronomy buff. Im an information sponge and love to talk/debate about anything. Knowing what makes people tick is important to me, specifically understanding ones incentives and how they relate to decision making. I care more about WHY people think the way they do and much less what they think.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinking with friends or staying in, or both I guess. Counts on my mood really, I cave to peer pressure easily in this kind of matter though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't have a car. Bike/bus do me fine.

You are genuinely into nice guys. Also if you get turned on by long talks about the Fed and monetary policy, I can go on for days. I know that one is a long shot, but a man has to try right?
