I read a lot, and have enjoyed many books, but these have changed
The Great Gatsby. Beautiful and Damned. 100 Years of Solitude.
Paradise Lost. The Inferno. The Fall. Fountainhead. Ender's Game.
(I read most these novels between 17 - 21, so maybe I need to find
more life changing literature? I think it's actually the case that
I read so much news and non-fiction now.)
When I was 20, I was reading all the classic literature and
philosophers searching for answers. It was probably the most
intellectually curious period of my life. I read so much that I
didn't attend much class that semester, and failed everything. I
then left college for about 3 years - saw new places like Kansas
and Iraq - and then returned to complete my degree.
Gattaca. LOTR. Star Wars. Jurassic Park. Royal Tenenbaums. Kill
Bill. Lost in Translation. No Country for Old Men. Pulp
The Wire. Game of Thrones. LOST. Rome. BSG. Office. Parks &
Rec. Stewart (not as much these days), Colbert, and Bill
I think Nicki Minaj is hot.
