I am genuinely a nice guy. I was raised well and being a gentleman is something I take pride in. I'm laid back and I have a dry, witty, and intelligent sense of humor. I am adventurous and open minded. I love to try everything life has to offer, which is why I have always been drawn to NYC. I have been here almost 2 years now and I love everything about it.

After working for a long time in the restaurant business I decided it was time to change paths. I had a lot of fun doing it but I came to realize it wasn't what I wanted to do forever. So I returned to school and I am in the process of continuing my education and building a life in New York City.

I am really good at being humble, so listing my strenghts is a bit of a challenge. I'm a great friend, can hold my own in intellectual conversations, I'm pretty good at Jeopardy, crossword puzzles, and Scrabble.

I love to read and watch movies.
Some of my favorite books are: Catch 22, Crime and Punishment, On The Road, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Wonderland Avenue. My favorite writers are Hunter Thompson, Dostoyevsky, Jack Kerouac, John Steinbeck, Poe, Shakespeare, Stephen King, and I am always looking for suggestions.
My favorite movies in no real order are:
Amelie, Life is Beautiful, Snatch, Trainspotting, Star Wars, Vanilla Sky, and anything Kevin Smith or Quentin Tarantino do.
My music tastes are pretty varied. Most of my favorite bands are rock. I love Ani Difranco, The Lowest of the Low, The Tragically Hip, U2, Cake, The Stones. I like ska quite a bit and some old school hip hop. i.e A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy.
As far as food goes, I am very experimental. I love Korean, Japanese, Mexican, Indian, French, and nothing beats a big juicy steak....

I am up for anything. I love checking out new restaurants and going to the movies. When the weather is nice I love being outside, maybe a ballgame, play, or park.
