In between dealing with taxing first world problems such as finding places to spend money and walking from a building to my car and back, I'm often outside and doing things like tramping, fishing and kayaking; when I'm not feeling quite so energetic I stay busy reading or working computer magic.

Thunderstorms, heavy rain, snow, and wild weather in general are my favourite weather conditions; the hot, sunny days with no wind we get once or twice a year are also great.

Ancient cultures fascinate me and a time-machine is #2 on my Genie wish list. Everywhere with ancient ruins is somewhere I want to travel to.

Classical instruments and languages are my most common on-again/off-again hobbies due to my love/hate relationship with practising them.

This year I'm studying something new at Uni after having previously done design & animation. Hopefully there will be fewer naked old people.

Catching fish when no one else does.

Books
I will read almost anything fiction if it is well written. I devour books on Psychology, Neuroscience and ancient history.

Movies
Funny & sad movies are bettered only by movies with fantastically tricky twists. Not so much the ones where you guess the twist in the first 15 minutes and spend the rest of the movie thinking "Please God, don't let that be the twist", and then it is. The Prestige is great, Fantastic Mr. Fox is actually fantastic.

Music
Armin van Buuren keeps my head nodding. Awolnation, Lana Del Rey, The Glitch Mob and Gotye are doing it for me at the moment.

Food
Lately I love noodles that take more than 2 minutes.

A functioning body, information, outdoors, organisation, bare feet, and not
