Thanks for checking me out. So bear with me while I write some corny stuff.

I think life is better shared with someone else by your side, having a good time together no matter what you are doing. From staying at home to watch a good movie, or quality TV show (no reality TV please, I have a sensitive stomach), or going out to dinner and a night on the town, as long as we are both having fun, then that is all we can ask.

Do you enjoy a sarcastic sense of humor? Good, ok we are on our way. Do you like an edgy slightly dark/dry sense of humor? Ok great we are still a go. Are you always politically correct, or easily offended? mmmm, well just know that my heart is in the right place, I may be sarcastic on the outside, but I'm sweet on the inside, really I swear.

By the way this site doesn't ask about your political leanings, so I would call myself a "practical progressive" (yep I came up with my own pigeon hole). If you are anywhere from the middle, to leaning to the left, then great, we are still doing well.

My goal in life is to try to make even the smallest difference in this huge world. No I don't delude myself into thinking that I can really "change the world", but I measure success in smaller ways. I think doing the right thing, being a good person to your friends, family, as well as yourself, and raising kids to the best of your ability and watching them make their own imprint on the world is all I can ask for.

Having empathy for others. Loyalty. Drawing straight lines. Solving problems. Plugging in wires.

I'm quiet when I first meet someone. Especially if I am in a large group of people, it takes me a little bit to feel everyone out and decide just who is ready for my stellar sarcastic wit.

Shawshank Redemption, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Donnie Darko, The Big Lebowski, Memento, Eternal Sunshine, Fight Club, Inception... should I go on? So obviously I like movies.

Dexter, Sopranos, Walking Dead, Shameless, Lost, Breaking Bad, Sex and the City, Seinfeld, 30 Rock, Curb, Battlestar, Arrested Development, Modern Family. And probably my all time favorite Six Feet Under.

Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, NIN, Coldplay, Death Cab, Muse, Jimmy Eat World, Genesis (you read that right), Guns N' Roses, Sunny Day Real Estate, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Tori Amos

Indian food has become a favorite of mine, and sushi still has my heart... check that, "good" sushi. Lately I have been trying to eat healthy, natural foods, organic if I can.

The universe, I love thinking about just how vast it all is, and all the theories about the things we still don't know. Thinking about how to find peace in this world. Also thinking about doing some yoga. Get my mind and body aligned. I already work out, so I figured it is high time I tried the yoga. Oh and how to make the perfect curry!

Public restrooms really gross me out.
