My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I will be working in North Dakota through the summer
Landing there May 17th and leaving in Aug.

Otherwise, I live in Chattanooga. I am originally from New Orleans. This is more a part of my identity than I knew until I left there.

I don't believe in guilty pleasures. I have no shame when it comes to what I love or appreciate. There are also no rules in comedy to me. I have been known to make some wildly "innapropriate" jokes.

You may learn something cool about me here, though I haven't updated it in ages. http://jazziechairsoul.tumblr.com

I am too prolific on Facebook, honestly.

Going to the Bakken for the summer to work.
Maybe I'll do some traveling while there.

To keep this concise, I won't list very many, just know there are a lot.

Books: all old Cajun/Creole cookbooks, anything by Tom Robbins, Vonnegut, Bukowski, and I have quite a few non-fiction books relating to science and things. I'm on a mission to collect all of Isaac Asimov's books. Want to be friends on Goodreads?

Shows: Shameless(the original), Swamp People(because they are my people), Bob's Burgers, Derek, Louie, Sons of Anarchy, Legit, Adventure Time, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and anything you could find on BBC or PBS. I like documentaries a whole lot.
If you know a good one I should see, let me know!

Music: Nina Simone is my soul. Classic country. Jazz all day long. Motown for cleaning. Leonard Cohen. Master P responded to me on Google + and I was stoked. Neutral Milk Hotel. Childish Gambino. Doomtree and Dessa. Jeff Buckley. Etta James. Dwight Yoakam. Tom Waits. Dax Riggs, Arctic Monkeys. Iggy Azalea. Ask me for more. I can talk music all day.

Cajun/Creole is my fav. Thai food. Fresh basil is the best thing ever.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Caffeine and allergy meds- I consume an insane amount of both out of necessity. I like nature but I wish it had a less irritating to the senses form of proliferation.

Naps- I am a serious proponent of these.

Gumbo- Sometimes when I am moody, I realize it is because my gumbo levels are too low. Cajun problems.

Orbit White bubblemint gum. This is not an advert. I have a legit addiction. Don't judge me, please.

Hugs- If we all got a hug and a nap daily, just think of the possibilities.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Recipes.
What other people must be thinking.
Things I should be writing down but never do.
How I wish my powers of observation were as good when it comes to personal relationships and interactions.
Just how cool the Universe really happens to be.
The hilarity and futility of everything.
Why I am doing what it is I am doing and not what I should be
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Netflixing and Facebooking and Homeworking
-OR-
Out seeing people and doing things.

If you want to. I won't waste your time.
I'm more apt to reply if you actually have something to say. Tell me what made you want to message me. Even if it is just my love for Orbit gum.

You have info that may help me in my job search in the Williston area. I am looking for server jobs, mostly. General customer service works, too. A job with housing would ROCK. Any newcomer advice is also welcome. :)

If you could fix the cartridge on my record player. Because the the internet hasn't helped me. If your plan is just to Google it, fuck off! I already did that. I'm really great at Google, okay. :)
