My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a thinker and a musician. Recently, someone said that I looked like a cross between Bill Murray and Robyn Williams. Not sure if I believe it but took it as a compliment all the same - I mean, who wouldn't?! Not too interested in all the latest junk crazes - I think that the world would be a lot better if everyone just took some personal responsibility and stopped consuming. I have hopes to do some stand up comedy in the next weeks. Don't think I'll plan anything - just show up and see what happens. I thrive in situations like that and attend jazz open jam sessions for the same reason.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working for myself, presenting a jazz radio show on community radio, getting involved in 'capers', writing, I also read a lot. Looking to do some voice acting in the near future.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing the piano by ear, listening, pinball, riding a bike, accents, sleeping.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my rather eccentric clothing. I'm a charity shop fiend and love to collect old rags and oddities.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Vonnegut, Asimov, Kerouac - I'll read just about anything. Sci-fi as well as a variety of non-fiction. History books, psychology, sociology, paleo-future, art books. I love surrealism, conceptual art and Googie architecture. Haven't watched television for about 10 years. Will eat just about anything except seafood. It's kinda strange - like eating aliens.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, food, pinball, cats, skinny jeans, drums.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Nothingness - it's actually quite difficult. The escalating tension around the world. The human purpose.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably relaxing at home with friends and listening to some music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once vomited on a guy in Las Vegas when I was 12. He was very surprised.
