When I'm not spacing out to tunes at home I'm probably out a)
meeting a friend for a drink, b) seeing some live music or c)
looking at dogs in the park. Love just about any kind of music and
have quite a diverse palette. I'll listen to anything that catches
my attention, particularly anything with an interesting beat, being
a drummer. Collecting old treasures/junk is another guilty
pleasure, especially old books - love a good trawl as long as it's
not too dusty in the shop. Avid reader and will read just about
anything but my favourite subjects would have to be sociology,
psychology, world history and old science fiction.
I'm quite social and enjoy talking what I call "trash" when I'm with my room mates and friends. Love slapstick comedy and dumb jokes that make little sense. Definitely laugh at my own for which I offer no apologies. Consider myself to be a bit of a thinker and enjoy trying to make sense of the world.
Not interested in making exorbitant amounts of money, life is all about experiences and I want to have as many as possible. Tried the corporate game for years and decided to call it a day when I was reprimanded for sending an email to a director with the incorrect font. I never synced well with corporate psycho-babble and striped ties anyway. The truth is, no one knows what they will be doing 5 years from now - life is unpredictable and that's the best part. Took a great job with a major not-for-profit and simply love it. Have open plans to either become a counsellor or open my own business in the next few years. In the mean time I plan on being happy, healthy and maybe even spoiling myself with some chocolate cake.
