Here's the thing about me, I'm pretty awesome. I grew up in Salt Lake City, and yes I was a Mormon (technically I still am I guess). I have been lucky enough to work my entire adult life in and around the costume design career I chose. I've worked my butt off to get here and 98% of the time these days I am happy with where I am. That doesn't stop me from wanting more and always ambitiously working for the "what's next"? in my life. I live to learn I suppose. I have a lot of shoes. I make myself shirts when I'm bored. I'm not sure I have a type except to say that I like people who are sure of themselves and have a drive of their own. I find these days that there really ARE great things that I'd like to share with a partner and lover. I have a great related family (back west) and a great chosen family here in NYC amongst friends.

I'm enjoying it. I like working... I really do.

tailoring.... years of doing it. I sometimes wish I could take off 8-10 years and go apprentice in Italy before the art form dies. I also tell pretty great stories and most of them are true.

Books: I don't find the time to read as much as I used to but I'm in the middle of The Passage trilogy right now. I tend to read more Fiction than non. I still haven't managed to get through Schiff's Cleopatra: A Life there are a LOT of Ptolemy's to keep track of.

Movies: Soapdish, The Lion in Winter, Clueless, Big Business, Victor Victoria, The American President, Weird Science....this could go on forever... I try to see a movie a week (occupational hazard)

Shows: The West Wing (best t.v. ever and I still watch it start to finish once a year) I watch a LOT of t.v. (occupational hazard) I'm kind of obsessed with Hoarders.

Music: all over the map: a typical playlist could be: Gaga, Rye Rye, Kylie, Robyn, Scissor Sisters, Rihanna, Erasure, etc. I try to keep current and have a LOT of old school 80's, and of course the prerequisite Broadway showtunes so I can keep "the card".

Food: I've never met a food I haven't liked. oh wait... I could do without jello (childhood trauma)
