Now for the bad news: I can't swim well. My siblings, who had summer jobs as lifeguards, love bringing this up at family functions. I have a soft spot for cheesy movies like The Princess Bride and anything by John Hughes. It's hard for me to pause a movie that I'm engrossed in, no matter how late it is. When I find something I'm interested in, I like learning everything I can about it. If I get a great research idea, it's impossible to pull me away from it. I probably am too overprotective of my younger siblings - the job of being the eldest, I suppose. I'm always cracking jokes and making them laugh - I feel an unspoken responsibility keep people I care about smiling.
