Hey, I'm John. I was pretty vanilla with my last "Self-Summary," so I decided to lighten it up a bit. I'm definitely not a morning person, but sometimes I don't mind getting up early. I enjoy staying up late, although I usually don't like to hang out in clubs(not a big clubber). I'm a pretty decent cook and know my way around the kitchen and the grill. I have a passion for music and it has to surround me constantly. A good book can always be found somewhere near me. I love thrillers and mysteries, maybe a good urban fantasy, here and there. Right now I'm teaching myself guitar(and it's not going as well as I'd hoped). Pointers are welcome. I tend to bite off more than I can chew occasionally, and end up spreading myself thin(which is why I'm on this site in the first place)and don't really have a lot of time for failure, I guess. I'm a hopeless romantic, in love WITH love. Which I realize is kind of ironic, a hopeless romantic on an internet dating site. But, unlike most of the guys out there actually Ienjoy a chick flick now and then(as long as the plot's not cliche and the acting is good). Now, don't get me wrong, I think I'd choose watching the game on Monday night, rather than seeing a chick flick, though. Family is a huge part of my life and i love them all so much. So, that's pretty much me in a nutshell(HELP, I'm in a nutshell), and I hope I haven't left anything out. If I did just ask me about it and I'll get back to you.(I'm kinda ADD, lol, so I might have missed something)

Right now I'm working part-time as a Security Officer to pay my way through college. Definitely NOT my dream job, but it pays the bills. I had to take a break to work off some of the debt I'm in because of college, and I plan to go back really soon. I'd like to get my degree in Digital Design or Animation.

I have a knack for making people laugh and relieving tension.
I'm also good at being a mediator in arguments(with 5 younger cousins that are like brothers and sisters, very handy).
