My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
-You can figure out a lot about who I am and who I love by stalking my Instagram.

-the latest news is that I recently designed my own line of camera bags that I'm taking to Kickstarter. So I guess I'm a fashion designer now

-next project is hopefully opening an ice cream shop

-I'm a photographer originally from the South, recently bought a 130 year old row house in the Hudson Valley after 9 years in NYC, adopted a puppy and named him Skillet, INFJ, passport stamper, water hole finder, entrepreneur, community builder

-I'm a grown man. I have a serious veneer and a mischievous core. I've got a relaxed and warm southern personality but not much of an accent. I saved for a house and bought one. Being involved in improving my community is really important to me. I would like to have a kid that isn't a dog someday. I have owned my own business and been totally self sufficient since I was 18. I take care of a puppy and a garden. I can cook, but mostly for friends and dates. In short, I have most of my shit together as I come up on 40 and I'm looking for someone to share that shit with.

-I'm on OKCupid because I'd like to be in a relationship. I still want to have kids some day, whether thats marrying into it, adopting, or making them myself :) That said, if you live in the Hudson Valley, I'm also interested in making new friends if we aren't a match.

-I realize this next part is going to be a deal killer for some of you in the city, but I actually live full time in the Hudson Valley now. I'm right in between Storm King and DIA if you've been. There are more women my speed up up here but not a whole lot that I'm attracted to.

-I've been influenced by living in various parts of the country. Born and raised in TN and GA, KY for university, 2 years in Southern CA, 1 year in Hawaii, 4 years in UT, 9 years in NYC, 9 months in the Hudson Valley.

-Now that I've bought a house in the Hudson Valley, I'm working on building a little cabin in the Catskills. I look at every single day.

-Peekamoose Blue hole, Platte Clove, and Lake Awosting are my three favorite swimming spots. I'll take you anytime.

-I don't have to fill my calendar to feel fulfilled and accomplished.

-I'm interested in kind, creative, feminine, ambitious, self-aware, opinionated, curious, open-minded women. They might be introverted or extroverted, but I am not interested in busyholic masculine controllers looking for an introvert to dominate. I'm introverted, but not shy or passive AT ALL. I'm looking for a partner that might help me grow and stretch in ways I haven't and vice versa. I'm happy in 50/50 relationships. The main thing that introvert means for you is that I strongly prefer one on one hangs with you to one on 50 party time, but I recognize its value every now and then.

I used to list a million artists here, but now that I've moved to the Hudson valley, I have realized how much I value silence. I did buy a turntable though. I like having friends over and putting on some old country, jazz, hip hop, or hipster indie. Skillet prefers bluegrass.

These are my top docs that get me riled up:

The Newburgh Sting
Waiting for Superman
The House I Live In
The Cove
Citizen Four
The Act of Killing
Food Inc
Chasing Ice

I'm not above watching TV when its done well
True Detective
Real Time with Bill Maher
Last Week Tonight
Independent Lens
College Gameday
Silicon Valley
The Leftovers
Nathan for You

I enjoy food. Since moving to the Hudson Valley, I've been cooking a lot more often. My latest big idea is that I would love to open a hard cider bar up here. I was vegetarian and mostly vegan for a couple years in the city but just couldn't quite cut it. But I eat about 85 percent less meat now
