Coupland is a favorite writer, though his more recent stuff tends to skew a bit too dark for my tastes. One of my favorite (non) animated movies is "The Wonder Boys". I'll listen to anything from classic motown to electronica to Joni Mitchell to Kanye. Last three concerts I've been to were Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen and Ben Folds Five. Oh, I love a good beef stew any time of the year.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order-

- water
- computer
- good set of pans
- my books/personal library
- sharp set of knives
- sketchbook
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
sex, love, life, successful urban planning, integrative thinking and about what we're all thinking when checking out profiles here.

Seriously though -- a lot of my friends try to give me advice on these sites, and most of it tends to be stuff like "vagueness works" "be cheerful and wholly positive sounding", or my favourite "don't talk about being bisexual, SO many people are going to swipe left when they see that".

Clearly, most of that advice I totally ignore - to whatever ends. I just gotta be me :) And I don't have the time for folks looking for boyfriend archetype #3241
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
lazing about, unwinding from a long hard week with a movie or some TV

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over. me, you're looking for a best friend. You have your own life, are open to sharing it with someone, and are happy to have someone else share theirs with you. You want to go to friends dinner parties and BBQ's and have your person on hand, so you can both gossip and make snarky observations about the evenings events afterwards. Go to bed happy to have each other. Simple, right?
