I draw comics, eat pizza, and swear a lot. Sometimes you can find me doing all three at the same time.

I work as a freelance comic book artist. Drawing and writing comics has always been my dream and I decided to jump into it full-time back in September. I'm still at the independent/small press level so it's nothing really glorious right now, but I'm doing what I love and I'm getting by, so I'm happy with it. I'm working on putting together a solid portfolio to submit to some publishers. I'd love to be able to make a living drawing the Ninja Turtles or X-Men one day.

Books: Comics/graphic novels mostly. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Saga, Scott Pilgrim, Y: The Last Man, Alias, Invincible, Prophet, Hawkeye, X-Men. I prefer Marvel over DC, but I'd rather read Image, Dark Horse or other indie stuff. I like my superhero books but I love reading comics of a variety of other genres.

Movies: Pirate Radio, Law-Abiding Citizen, Burn After Reading, Hot Rod, The Weather Man, Serenity, Slither, Ghostbusters, and Chronicle. I also really like stuff that's a little different, stuff that doesn't necessarily have to have a happy ending. I'm not a huge fan of horror movies but I don't hate them either.

TV: Parks and Recreation, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Dollhouse, Entourage, and 30 Rock. I've recently started watching Justified and I'm really enjoying it so far. I like animated shows a lot too. The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is great. Archer, Ugly Americans, Regular Show, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Green Lantern, Adventure Time, etc.

Music: I like anything that's catchy, but I'm a punk rock guy at heart. I love bands like Bad Religion, Cobra Skulls, Carbonas, Night Birds, Misfits, etc, but I also really enjoy a lot of other genres too. Queens of The Stone Age, Danny Brown, Childish Gambino, Justice, Foxy Shazam, These Arms Are Snakes, Young Widows, Kanye West, Bear Vs Shark, The Protomen, Sleigh Bells, LCD Soundsystem, Baroness, Maserati, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Swans...the list goes on. I also play bass and sing in a punk band.

I don't have a car. Figure I should get that out there. But I do have a bike and a Breeze card, and I get around just fine. Don't worry, I'm not going to be mooching rides from you.
