My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Everything is funny to me and I use words like "fuck" a lot more than I should. I look like a metalhead (and I am) but I tend to get way more excited when a 2 Chainz or Riff Raff song comes on. I like to sing the worst songs possible at karaoke. I've often been told that I remind people of Charlie Day...I'll take it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I draw comics! Its been my dream job since as far back as I can remember and I've been doing it full-time for a little over two years. I recently finished up a mini-series called Critical Hit for Black Mask Studios and I'm currently working on a series called Welcome Back for BOOM! Studios.

I used to play in punk and hardcore bands a lot but haven't played much since moving to Atlanta. The itch is killing me and I'm ready to play some shows again so I'm trying to put something together.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Telling stories, remembering rap lyrics, putting too much effort into mix cds/playlists, spouting off useless pop culture trivia. Did you know Jay-Z wrote most of Dr Dre's lyrics on Dre's 2001 album?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Comics/graphic novels mostly. Saga and The Wake are among my favorites. I tend to read fewer Marvel/DC superhero books these days and read a lot of creator owned or "indie" comics (Image, Boom, Dark Horse, etc.)

Movies and TV: Too many to list. I always have Netflix or something playing when I am working so I blow through around 30-50 hours of tv/movies in a week sometimes. Lately I've been digging Silicon Valley, The Flash, Arrow, Agents of SHIELD, and the final season of Justified.

Music: Again, too much to list. The things I listen to the most right now are doom/sludge/stoner metal bands, really dark and moody instrumental stuff, and mainstream rap music. Current playlist includes: Graveyard, Metz, Run The Jewels, Monolord, Pile, Pusha T, Sandrider, Coliseum, Evile, Kendrick Lamar, Every Time I Die.

Food: Tin Lizzy's tacos.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Art supplies. Glasses. Computer. Cat. Comics. Music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What historical figures were like in real life. The people we look back at and put up on a shitty were they really?

Also, aliens. For real though.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Staying up til 5 AM working on art while watching Netflix. Going to a metal/punk show. Karaoke. Front porch drinking with friends. Beer and video games. Who knows?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
No car. I get around just fine though, thanks to Marta and the occasional Uber/Lyft ride.
