I work. I play. I sleep. Repeat.

I like road trips.

In all seriousness, I have a full time job that keeps me pretty busy often beyond 40 hrs a week. I own a condo I'm on the condo board. I have a car, but I'd much rather walk or bike than drive. I volunteer. I keep trying new things to fill up the rest of the time (see below).

I'm good at quoting song lyrics mid-conversation; I can cook fairly well when I decide to; I am good at putting my foot in my mouth; I'm a pretty good listener, but easily distracted; I'm told I'm good at my job; I have a really good memory.

I'm trying to become good at more things. Last year I tried teaching myself xc skiing, and started indoor rock climbing. I'm still doing both, although my climbing buddy moved so I'm auditioning replacements. This year have added squash and scuba diving to the mix. I like variety and challenging myself - it makes life interesting.

I'm more introverted than not, so if you don't notice my loud friends first, you may notice I'm often joking and have big blue eyes.

Books: Time Traveller's Wife; Rushdie; McEwan; Coetzee; What is the What.

Movies: Amelie; Good Will Hunting; .... I admit I haven't seen a good movie in a while (September?)

Shows: How I met your Mother; Modern Family; Blue Bloods and other action shows... That said I recently cancelled cable so my TV streams over the internet.

Music: Hip hop/RnB; and Indie Rock. I heart summer festivals, but also kitchen dance parties.

Food: fresh fruit; summer salads; cheese; chocolate; sea food; pasta; poutine. I prefer wine to beer and have recently discovered a love of scotch and an interest in bourbon.

Good food and wine; coffee; passport; friends and family; my health; and, music.

Where to next (travel-wise). Why I haven't managed to finish the book I've been reading for months. Career stuff. What's for dinner. Regular stuff I guess.

Holding down a social life. Keeping life interesting.

Sometimes though, I'm collapsing after a long week at work.

I don't like team sports (except beer league softball) - in this town that's a tough one to admit...
