I was born in the wrong time period. I love old fashioned styles. Don't think I'm a Luddite though, I know how to use new technology but I am weary of growing too reliant on it, I'm not going to waste my time twittering to see what some celebrity had for lunch. On a more positive note, I have a great caring personality, I love animals and old people (being around children if their caretakers aren't paying attention makes me nervous, they're too unpredictable) and I always am willing to listen. I enjoy and collect anime and manga, but not to the point of being weird and wearing some stupid headband or be a dork about it, and I'm pretty open in musical tastes, and I spend time looking for new artists. I'll listen to oldies, trance, shoegaze, classic rock, new wave(and darkwave) and some metal even, as long as there is actual singing, not screaming. The only things that make my skin crawl musically are modern pop, rap and country. I enjoy spending time with close friends and family, relaxing at home or going on a hike. My favorite book genres are horror and cyberpunk, but I read a little bit of everything. Physically, I am 6ft tall and 226 lbs. I do have a large frame(I wear a size 15.5 ring and 4E wide shoes!) and a good deal of muscle with some fat only around the belly that I am working at getting rid of( I used to weigh 35 pounds more, but with much less muscle, so I've made a good change recently). I like to dress semi-casually, preferring timeless, practical looks and pocket watches. My favourite cold weather items are black leather jackets, gloves and boots. During the summer, I try to avoid the heat as much as humanly possible. I also love writing with fountain pens, the variety of ink colours you can find is amazing, and they write so smoothly.

I am quick-witted, caring, and a tad eccentric

I'm currently attending Tri-C with the intention of getting an AA to transfer to a 4 year. I haven't quite decided my major, but I'm leaning towards an media specialist. When not at school, I keep the house running and my pets fed and happy and work at a local pet-shop.

Reading is my passion, but I'm very good with mechanical things. I've fixed and installed various home appliances (washer, drier, vacuum computers, etc.), and I can wrap my head around the way things work instinctively. I also like role playing games, both computer and pen and paper but, I've never had a group to work with in my area. I'm also skilled at coming up with word-play on the spot.

I'm usually asked a question about football, I'm built like a lineman, but I have no interest in organized sports, so I find that a bit amusing. I think people also compliment me on my rapier wit and knowledge of obscure fields.

My favourite authors are Stephen King, HP Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman, Edgar Allen Poe and JD Salinger. My favourite movies are Alien, Terminator 2, Hellraiser, Ghost in the Shell and Perfect Blue. Some of my favourite bands include,The Birthday Massacre, Lacuna Coil, David Bowie, The Cure, Lacrimas Profundere, Voltaire], Type O Negative, Apocalyptica and Paradise Lost, basically odd music. My favourite show is probably Mystery Science Theatre 3000, and my other favourites include Sons of Anarchy, The Twilight Zone, Forever Knight, Malcom in the Middle and King of the Hill. Food wise, I have a very sensitive sense of taste, so I enjoy simple fare such as a good pizza or burger, and pancakes are my absolute favourite. I can't stand vinegar or artificial sweeteners, which limits my options at times. I'm also a tea fiend, be it black, green, red, oolong, white or herbal.
