My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just realized exactly how long it had been since I had updated this thing...

Well, I moved to Denver a few years ago, with the intention of getting my MA and heading back to Missouri, but the damn city just kept refusing to give me a reason to leave. I love it here, and am pretty well locked in. I have two great jobs (one teaching, one as a barista), and a metric fuck-ton of amazing friends. Perhaps I'll write more here later, but for now, just know that things are good and such.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Getting my Masters, trying to figure out where to go for my Doctorate. I intend to be a professor/writer, so those are my two main focuses right now. I do have a couple of short stories published, so I'm not just some bum who claims to be a writer so he can have an excuse to hang around coffee bars all day (you know who you are...stop it). I write a little bit of everything and even have a graphic novel project in the works with an artist friend of mine.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a walking encyclopedia of useless information, a genetic trait passed down from generation to generation on my father's side. Films, music, books, pop-culture, yeah it's useless but fun.
The first things people usually notice about me

I have no idea...probably the collection of strange hats.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever I happen to be writing at the moment. Once I get started on a project I spend a lot of time in my own head working out the details.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Exploring, hanging w/ friends, writing or jacking around on x-box w/ friends from KC (my old home town).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm actually two gnomes in a trench-coat

Also, I really liked the finale of Lost
