My self-summary
Don't let the photo fool you! I'm actually a really down-to-earth guy. I'm a college student studying game design at an art school in Atlanta. I'm originally from Massachusetts, but I really love it down here in the south and find the people and climate much more pleasant. I love meeting new people, having a good time, and sharing interests. I'm pretty big into film, video games, and music, and am developing an interest in comics and television (pretty much the whole entertainment industry). I also enjoy spending time outdoors and, when I can find time and people to play with, like to play soccer and tennis.

I'm a pretty social person and like to consider myself a decent conversationalist. Getting to know people and understanding how they think is important to me. I'm a good listener and genuinely care about what others have to say. I believe that the best relationships, friendly or romantic, are based on a strong foundation of mutual interest, respect, and familiarity. Cliché and obvious, sure, but still important. =P
What I’m doing with my life
As I mentioned above, I'm studying to become a game designer at an art school. I have a vast appreciation for the arts, but I don't consider myself an artist. I'm more of a technical guy. It's my dream to one day work for a prestigious game company that works in multiple areas of the entertainment industry. I'm not sure where that will take me, but I'm here in Atlanta for now and don't have any intentions of leaving until I get my degree.
I’m really good at
I like talking to people. It comes pretty naturally to me. I have a background working in retail and the couple years of experience really opened me up and helped me learn how to talk to people I don't know. I'm a creative thinker and like to make things happen. I run a film club every week at my college dorm (I'm a bit of a film enthusiast) and am usually the one that organizes outings with my friends.

I'm also really good at making and picking up on movie references. Quickest way to my heart is through quoting movies.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes and my hair. I've been told that I have a friendly face and welcoming demeanor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Lord of the Flies, The Great Gatsby, comics (mostly Marvel), anything based on a game franchise

Movies: Fight Club, The Illusionist, The Prestige, The Usual Suspects, The Shawshank Redemption, Office Space, Grandma's Boy, Pan's Labyrinth, The Big Lebowski, The Social Network, Burn After Reading, Marvel movies (I own all of them, even the shitty ones) and a whole bunch of others. I'm a bit of a movie buff.

Shows: Usually whatever I'm watching at the time, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Supernatural, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Game of Thrones, Psych, Archer, Avatar TLA/TLOK, Young Justice, anime (message me for titles)

Music: Swedish House Mafia, deadmau5, Kaskade, CAZZETTE, Daft Punk, Cage The Elephant, Benny Benassi, Example, Ratatat, Blue Man Group, Incubus, The Smashing Pumpkins, Audioslave, Passion Pit, The Naked and Famous. Mostly dance music and alternative rock, but I can listen to most anything except country.

Food: Sushi, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, pretty much anything. I've been branching out my tastes the past couple years and I'll try pretty much anything once.

Video games: I LOVE Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, StarCraft, and Borderlands, but I'm into a lot of other franchises, too. I have Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, Wii, and DS out of the modern console. I do a bit of PC gaming here and there as well.
The six things I could never do without
Family, friends, my car, Netflix, video games, the entire entertainment industry.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the things I'd like to get into sometime down the line. I'm constantly looking to broaden my horizons and make myself a more well-rounded individual. A lot of the activities and interests I'd like to explore are usually different from the norm unless it's just expanding my scope of media consumption. Some examples would be rock climbing, archery, fencing, and, believe it or not, botany.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually hanging out with my friends, watching movies, and playing video games. I work Friday nights, too, but my job is with my school so I can hang out with friends at the same time. I'm a pretty low-key guy and I like to relax, but every once in a while I like to get out and explore the city.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a 21 year old guy who still likes stuffed animals. A lot of guys (and girls) don't think it's masculine to keep stuffed animals, but I don't really see a problem with it. They're like cute pillows that can make you feel happier and safer. What's not to like? As long as you're not doing anything creepy with them, it's all good to me.
I’m looking for
  • Straight girls only
  • Ages 18–22
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
you're artsy, an intellectual, and a good conversationalist. Or if you just want to talk about whatever. I'm pretty open.

Or if you want to talk about the insanity that is Game of Thrones, you're into video games as well, or if you have a recommendation for a TV series or movie that I should see. If you like entertainment, then I'll probably like you.
