My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! If you're taking the time to read this, then I should at least try to make it interesting.

Film is my PASSION. Remember that, it's important.

I love to laugh. And laugh. And laugh.

Family, friends, and film are my world.

Movies, mornings, and kryptonite are my weaknesses.

I am originally from Miami. It means a lot to me. Lots of great moments/memories/people/places there.

I'm a bit of a dreamer, and a bit of a realist. I believe in happy endings, but know that they don't come cheap.

I try to be good to people. I try to think of others as much as I can. Key word being "try", despite what Yoda said.

I'm not perfect, but who is?

"Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey, "The Longest Time" by Billy Joel, and "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure are three songs that make me insanely happy, no matter what.

I enjoy the little things, the moments in between moments.

Compassion and optimism are two key words in my life.

I can be a pretty social human being, but I highly value my privacy.

If you wanna piss me off, then say something mind-numbingly ignorant, bash someone for their beliefs, or answer your phone at the theater.

I love hearing people's random stories about their day to day lives.

It really doesn't matter what I'm doing as much as who I'm with.

Some of my not-so out of this world interests:
I enjoy the beach, dancing, reading, writing, drawing, art, Blockbuster (RIP) nights, "Remember whens," "What ifs," singing at the top of my lungs, restaurants, cruises, vacations, staying up way beyond reason, sleeping in, relaxing, theme parks, cat orgies, bowling, steak, Caribbean locales, traveling, creating, oh and I kinda sort like movies. But only a little bit.

I'm also pretty hilarious, just ask my mom =)

What more could you ask for, other than Brad Pitt?

'Kay, enough reading. Wouldn't you rather talk to me and find out more that way as opposed to reading about me in a little box?

Hello?

OK, um...in conclusion, I shall state a joke:

A guy walks into a bar and says OUCH.

If you found that at all hilarious, contact me.

I am automatic, systematic, and hydromatic
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I decided to jump into the big ocean, as I am an aspiring filmmaker. There's no one out in LA like that, huh? Basically, I want to be Steven Spielberg when I grow up. I am slowly trying to make my way up that ladder. One rung at a time.

I'm positive about most things, which is good since the future is pretty much up for grabs. Anything can happen, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. At the end of the day, it's all just a part of the plan.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Watching movies, remembering, thinking, writing, observing, making people laugh, spejlling (get it?), listening, laughing, creating, blinking, living.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My loud obtrusive laugh. Seriously, it's loud. You've been warned.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

(a) Due to lots of summers spent in the library growing up, I would say that I am reasonably well-read, although lately my fascination with stories has moved over into the moving picture realm. I watch more movies now than I read books. But if I had to choose a favorite genre, it would definitely be fantasy. I also thoroughly enjoy Batman comic books/graphic novels (yes, I am a huge nerd). And maybe your mom.

(b) "Star Wars" and Spielberg led me here.
Frodo, Indy, Batman, and William Wallace showed me what true heroism is.
"The Simpsons" taught me what's funny.
"LOST" moved me beyond words.
Otherwise...look, I am pursuing a career in film/TV. We would be here forever. Go here, it may explain things a bit better: http://www.myspace.com/movies_only
And yes, I still have a Myspace :)

(c) My Pandora stations are:
Best Of The 80s
Classic Pop
Oldies
John Williams Radio
U2 Radio

Pretty much sums it up.

(d) Not a big seafood fan. Other than that, I'm good to go.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I will do you one better, Internet. How about...

ONE quote that defines me:

"If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise don't even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives, jobs, and maybe your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery, isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance. Of how much you really want to do it. And you'll do it, despite rejection in the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods. And the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is."
-Henry Chinaski (Matt Dillon), FACTOTUM

TWO things that inspire me:

2. Fantastic filmmaking that exhibits a staggering mastery of the craft, inspires emotion, weaves in thematic exploration along with entertainment, explores intimate ideas on broad canvases, and has a little bit of everything
1. People who never give up, who never give in, and who give everything of themselves

THREE things I believe in:

3. No matter what happens, it can always be worse
2. Everyone turns AT LEAST 5 percent Gay while listening to the song "Karma Chameleon."
1. It's not our abilities that determine who we are, but our choices

FOUR things I try to live by:

4. Never get less than 12 hours of sleep
3. Never get involved in a land war in Asia
2. Never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city
1. Never get involved with a woman who has a tattoo of a dagger on her body

FIVE things I'm afraid of:

5. Death
4. Taxes
3. Failure
2. The possibility of a Dracula and Frankenstein world takeover
1. The randomness of Fate - anything can happen at any time

SIX things I could never do without:

6. Family (Duh)
5. Friends (Also duh)
4. Movies (See above)
3. TV (Ditto)
2. Laughing (Yes)
1. Lady butts (Extremely DUH)

Everything else is cream cheese.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
...what's gonna happen next.

And why we say we're "going" to sleep if we are, in actuality, not going anywhere. We are literally just lying there and closing our eyes. "Going" somewhere would completely NOT allow us to sleep. It's an odd turn of phrase, and it boggles my mind.
(Note: The above is to be read in your best Seinfeld voice.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At a movie theater. OR, out being amazing, Saturday-Night-Fever style. OR, hanging with friends. OR, sitting at home watching some DVDs. OR, saving the world from an alien invasion (it happens more often than you think).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I HATE online survey thingies like this one. That's not very private. Nice try, Internet.
