My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
For about 18 months now, I have been dating between my fishing trips in Alaska. I work two months on, two months off. My work days consist of 16 hr days 7 days a week. The time off is spent doing odd jobs, laying low around the place, and all kinds of different recreational events. Because of my job and other circumstances, meeting people is a little tough. Dating has been an adventure all on its own. In an attempt to figure out how it works, I have noticed that people seem to create a profile then go about their life. It's hard to gauge people without seeing how they interact outside a profile. It would be great to meet someone in normal recreational environments to get a quick rundown and decide if they want to peruse. So in hopes that there is someone out there who would consider trying this out, let's meet up! ABOUT ME: I like going to open mic night on Tues, 9 ball on Wed, any other night could be anything from catching some live music at a local venue to watching episode after episode of some TV show, to coming back from the mountains. If you want to see some place in Oregon you have never seen, hit me up. If you want to ride on the motorcycle with me, hit me up. If you want to ride my motorcycle with me as a passenger, hit me up, if you want to shoot a game of pool, hit me up. I am here, I am available and I rarely say no:)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Occupationally: Commercial Fisherman
Recreationally: Not enough
Everyday: Trying to figure things out
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hard work. I wish it was something else, but I was once told that it was my single best quality. Learning new things. Overcoming the unknown. Turning a simple hike into an all day adventure.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I really have no idea. I have never been given feed back on that particular subject
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I just like to read. I really have no idea what I would consider my favorite book. Not really a favorite type of person, many things change with time and influence.
Movies: Gladiator, Outlaw Josey Wales, Jeremiah Johnson, Band of Brothers,
Music: Like most people I like a very wide variety, I am not overly faithful to any one genre. I have in my life listened to everything from classical to heavy metal. I like what sounds good:)
Food: What ever doesn't make me feel bad after I eat it. I am afraid this might be an age thing. I really want to eat a lot more organic. I grew up eating fresh veggies, rabbit meat, goats milk, fresh eggs, and wild game.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee, my backpack, a faithful dog, hope, an interesting thought, the ability to work, a good pair of boots
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I should do next. I spend a lot of time thinking about the idea of freedom, love, why people live and do what they do, can I really train goats to pack my gear, catching more fish, why didn't I just stick to the trail, why is the rum always gone.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
As of late it has been working. Not sure it These prompts really fit my lifestyle.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I go to a friends house and they have some really good smelling lotion on the counter I like to use it so I can smell it everytime I scratch my nose.
