This is not about "camping"
I have been priviledged for two years now to be part of a wondeful group of people,
There is a camp for childern that , for what ever reason, have been burned, The camp is called Camp Phoenix, look up the pheonix some time, beautiful story.
It is so wonderful to see these kids get to play and have fun with out people staring and asking stupid questions,
It has been a a great honor to get to work with these folks,
It takes a year of planning to get this camp to run right for just a week and then it starts all over agin!
We have the best bunch of kids and staff anyone could ever ask for,
We take for granted when we have have healthy kids. Don't.
In a moment something can happen, I was blessed by having a healthy child and now grandchildren, I guess that's why it's so special to be with these kids, they weren't so lucky,
Thank God you have healthy kids and if you don't thank God you have them at all, they are such a blessing!

You spend all your adult life looking for "the one" and they come along,but as fate would have it, you can't be together,
Your heart gets broken, you cry for days, but you do your best to go on.
But sometimes you wonder why, what's the use, you fall in love,and you just get your heart broken,You wonder if this time it will ever mend, is there that much time?
I have built a wall around my heart trying to protect it from the pain, but once again, it has slipped in through the tiny cracks, and somehow grown into more pain than I think I can handle, I have said I'd never fall again, but I know I will ,because we weren't meant to be alone.
We are supposed to have someone in our life, a partner,someone to share with, that is just the way we are supposed to be!So I will keep on trying and try not to build the wall so strong that when that special person does come along, I can see them for who they are and not turn them away, or scare them off,and just maybe some day, "the one' will come along and we will see that life may not be fair, but can once in a while give in just a little and let us be happy,maybe.
