My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Honesty is the best policy, I believe this whole heartedly, though it sometimes makes me come off as harsh. Here it goes....I will lie about my weight by about ten pounds. Ah heck, let's make it twenty pounds.

I am a passionate man who loves his family, friends, and music. I like trying new beers and enjoy going on the hunt for music(vinyl or cd), or books.

I have many hopes, dreams, and ambitions. I will not give off them. I am working towards music as my full time career. I would love to travel more, and see more of this beautiful world. I hope some day to go to Germany.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a musician, and have worked professionally for over a decade. I went to school for piano performance with a pedagogy certicate. I feel that is a pretentious way of saying I was trained to teach. I am working at starting a teaching studio, and perform more. I started learning jazz, and hope to combine what I know into something unique.

I do not have stars in my eyes, and financial stability is important to me alongside with my goals. Career success and fame are two totally different things.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a good musician, as well as a decent teacher. I get a lot of joy from being able to do these as jobs.

I am also good at public speaking, and host a podcast with a friend and fellow musician. I find ways to combine my talents together.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Good question....I think some people should tell me what they notice first. Right now I would say it is my voice, it can project.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

A lot of people say they are a geek or nerd, I feel this applies more so to me. I do love music, with a huge emphasis in history and theory. I enjoy reading about them, and even more so talking with others. Sometimes I feel I can see a delicate web that connects events, and styles, seeing how some genres influence others. Discovering is a delight.

I play classical, jazz, and gospel music. Though it be unfair to say that is everything love. I enjoy listening to new things...even things I don't like. It gives me something new to learn or experience. This past year alone I found albums I like in genres I never thought I would like.

When it comes to movies, I do like superhero movies, especially since I don't have the time to read comic books. I also enjoy dramas.

I like to read a lot, especially about history, music criticism and theory, science fiction and fantasy.

Currently I am very into game of thrones. I do not take much time to watch tv.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This is a hard section to write, I could be glib or serious. I will go with overly serious. I found my passion in life, and have decided that I would let it kill me. I am not perfect, and I am fat, I work hard to change that, but I don't know the future. What I do know is I get to enjoy spending everyday in search of ways to express emotions without saying a word. One day I will meet someone whom I get to spend my days finding ways to say "I love you" the same way. There are many things I can live without. But that ability, knowing how to express myself with an not.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everyone thinks about the future, and I am no exception, but I also enjoy entertaining day dreams when I can. I also like to ponder about things I have listened to or read.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
These days it seems working. I do enjoy going out for a drink or coffee while reading or to chat. I enjoy playing board games, or video games. Especially co-op games. I would like to go out to hear live music more often.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
While I love to laugh and make other laugh, I must admit most of my jokes are terrible. The running joke now is that I have an allowance of bad jokes, and I am not allowed to go over.

Right now, looking for friends. Relationships happen naturally either way, and I don't feel pressure to start one. I could always use a slight distraction.
