I am bears, beets, and Battlestar Galactica.

My Self-Summary

"Ender's Game" was loosely based on my trip to space camp when I was eight.
Kristen Bell will occasionally narrate my day for fun.
I have an ongoing feud with C-list actor Joey Slotnick (Twister, The Single Guy, Boston Public).

I moved here two years ago and I've decided I need to meet some new people. I grew up in small town Pennsylvania, went to school in Virginia, and moved to New York to take my first job. Now I live and work in downtown Manhattan, diversifying bonds at Wu-Tang Financial.

I love journalism, and I obsessively read NYT.com. WSJ and The New Yorker are good too. If you can answer "yes" to "did you see that article in the Times on..." then we should have plenty to talk about. I was the editor of my college newspaper, so yes I do know proper spelling, grammar and AP Style. Probably more then you. [sic]

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

TV: Mad Men, 30 Rock, The Office, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Lost (I subscribe to the time loop theory.)
TV (canceled): The Wire, Arrested Development, The Office (UK)

The other day I was trying to decide if Mad Men was my favorite scripted drama ever, because without thinking about it I classified The Wire as a documentary.

The six things I could never do without

Favorites:
1. Guster song: Keep It Together
2. Michael Jackson song: I Want You Back (I know it's Jackson 5, it still counts)
3. Emoticon: V.v.V (the GChat crab)
4. Walking to work in the morning song: Talib Kweli - Get By
5. Star Wars movie: The Empire Strikes Back
6. Food to give to babies: Lemons. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKSANeQTAgw)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

According to iTunes, I've listened to Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" 296 times.
