My self-summary
I've been living here in Atlanta for 18 years, so I guess I'm pretty much from here at this point. I don't say "y'all" or anything though.

I've got some pretty awesome friends here who'd probably take a bullet for me. Maybe not a bullet in the chest, but like a grazing of the thigh or something. Regardless, I love these dudes and dudettes.

I'm pretty relaxed. Relaxed, that is when I'm not freaking out about something. One thing I've discovered as I've gotten older is how the line between pure excitement and sheer terror becomes blurred. I try to make the best of both moments.

Oh, I went to SCAD and got an MFA degree in comics. First off, yeah, you can major in that and secondly, yes, I am paying off a billion dollars in student debt.
What I’m doing with my life
After 3 wacky years of the post-college "what the f am I doing?!" phase I find myself pretty successful at what I do. I work as a storyboard artist for a great animated tv show. It can be stressful, rewarding, exciting, etc. Ultimately, as a kid, I wanted my name in the credits on tv and the big screen, so I can check that off my bucket list.

I also write and draw graphic novels. I got one book out and it did great, so I ante upped and now I'm working on two projects for the same publisher. I'm trying not to lose my mind with all this junk going on.
I’m really good at
Writing, drawing, wearing plaid.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hmm, I got the nickname at work "Wolverine Beard", so maybe that? Granted, I generally get called that when I've forgotten to shave for a while and my face goes a little wild. One time a little kid also said I looked like Wolverine too. Then I smacked him and told him to mind his own business.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies- Back to the Future. Anything Ang Lee (yeah, even the Hulk movie). I haaaaaaate Lars Von Trier. I like Wes Anderson but I think it may just be due to the fact I saw The Royal Tenenbaums and Rushmore a thousand times in high school. I don't like Tarantino all that much, this drives people effing nuts (relax Tarantino people). I like a lot of Scorcese... I know, duh. I don't know, man, there is way too much to list here. Entertainment and storytelling is kind of my life so I find anything interesting. Even if something is garbage I enjoy the experience and try to get something out of it.

Music- Bowie, T-Rex, Thin Lizzy, The Sweet, Reigning Sound, King Tuff, Ty Segall, Big Star, Paul McCartney (specifically Ram), Superdrag, Superchunk, Supertramp, and Supergrass (thus concludes my super bands), Todd Rundgren, Queen, Sloan.

I listen religiously to the Best Show on WFMU.

Tv- The Simpsons was the greatest television show of all time. Seasons 4-9 are simply the best comedy that's ever been on television. The Sopranos was pretty friggin' awesome too. Funny, dark, psychologically deep character studies, what else do you need? I'll answer... Nothing.

Books- I'm currently reading The Sisters Brothers and it is awesome. I finally read Charles Burns' Black Hole recently and that was really dark and beautiful.
The six things I could never do without
Meh, I'm not really attached to stuff. Gimme a minute, I'll think of something... I got one, Publix subs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Too much. I'm actually taking a meditation class currently and it's pretty great. Don't be scared, I'm not like some new agey crazy person though. I just think getting your thoughts in order is super important, especially with what I do. I like to separate my creative time from my "just hangin'" time.

How to keep this stuff honest. I truly think the internet is a pitfall for narcissism and I don't wanna go there.

Oh, and I also think about how spiders are fucking disgusting and scary.
On a typical Friday night I am
Pizza party, dude... No, seriously, pizza party.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Um, I've seen Jack and Jill at least 7 times... I think I might love it. Oh, and I've seen a fair amount of Gilmore Girls.
