My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well what can I say? I'm a transplanted Albertan who found his way here via the west coast.

Some of my areas of expertise include Star Trek (I could probably teach a university level course on the subject if such a course existed), Minecraft and Ragdoll cats. I can be a bit reserved at first but a sure fire way of loosening me up is to ask me about any of those topics, or anything else only a complete shut-in would know about. ;)

I also enjoy gardening when I'm able, going for runs, cooking and judging strangers at the mall...kidding....kind of.

It's always easier to answer questions than it is to randomly go on about yourself so feel free to drop me a line.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mostly designing imaginary food for cartoon animals 9 to 5.

The last book I thoroughly enjoyed was Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake. I think dark dystopian novels have a special place in my black, black heart, although I have to say that I'm less of a book guy and more of a podcast and internet article kind of guy.

Some of my favorite podcasts include A life well wasted, The Freakanomics Podcast, RadioLab, This American Life, Lexicon Valley, The American's Test Kitchen Podcast and the Dinner Party.

Some of the TV that I'm into, or have been into are Battlestar Gallactica, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Futurama and probably a tonne more that I just can't think of right now.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was in a movie once with Neil Patrick Harris. Well, you only see a quarter of my face, but that still counts, doesn't it?

You feel like it. This is a judgement-free-zone. It's not like we're at the mall or something. :)

Plus, i can be a little shy about sending the first message....sorry!
