I am amusing, vivacious, and fun-loving.

My Self-Summary

I'm on my second career in my fourth city and loving both.

I'm from the Boston area originally. I moved around a bit, but I love it here and had to come back, despite the obvious flaws (weather, potholes that could swallow your car, etc.)

I guess I'm having the problem that seems to be so common: it's hard to meet people. So I'm finally giving the internet a real shot (as opposed to the half-assed shots I gave it before) and seeing what happens.

What I’m doing with my life

Workwise I was running the operations at a nonprofit for the past five years and now I'm taking a break and considering moving in a different direction. In general I'm spending time with good people and enjoying life.

The first things people usually notice about me

That I'm short and cute. And that I act much older than I look (which is good, because I look like I'm barely old enough to drink.) And probably that I tend to be a bit (ok, very) sarcastic.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Food: Chinese and Italian.
Music: 80s and 90s (ah, nostalgia)
Movies: I love the oldies, especially anything with Audrey Hepburn or Katherine Hepburn, like Wait Until Dark and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
Books: Where to begin? Everything from Harry Potter to Shakespeare to James Patterson. I'll try most books. I only wish I had time to read more!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life, what's worthwhile in it, how to be happy, etc. And what on earth to make for dinner.

You should message me if

If you like what you've been reading and if you know who you are and what you want in your life. And if you know how to have fun and laugh.

Given the emails I've been getting, I should clarify here: I'm not interested in a one night stand, dating someone in an open relationship, smokers, or in anyone who's 40+. It's nothing personal against you, just my own preference.
