Hi, my name is Adam. I know who I am, and I know what I want out of life. Just trying to figure out how to get there. In the meantime, I do keep myself pretty busy. I work a lot, and I do a lot of volunteering in the community, but I still always find time for those important to me.

I believe it is possible to flood the world with positivity to the point where there is no room for anything else. I don't know how realistic is it, but I think it's a good goal to shoot for.

I'm an excellent listener and problem solver, and just as good if someone just needs to vent. Very laid back and upbeat. If you ever catch me yelling at someone or in a bad mood, there's a good reason for it.

I take a lot of pride in learning from my mistakes, and even more from being able to learn from other people's mistakes. Like everyone, some things I'm pretty sharp on, other things, I can be as dense as the next guy. I can admit when I make a mistake, and I HAVE asked for directions before.

I think clear communication is crucial in any relationship. Subtle clues that a girl is interested in me, I'm probably going to miss. I need a girl to go caveman and club me over the head. Nothing says "I love you" like blunt head trauma. Now, looks aren't everything, but it'd be good if she didn't LOOK like a caveman. Firstly, because she'd be a he. And a caveman would likely be able to swing a much heavier club much harder. I don't need to be knocked out cold to get the message, but I need the message to be delivered loud and clear. Aside from that, I think I'm worth the effort of letting me know of any interest.

Relationships take work, and I'm willing to put that in. All I ask is that whoever I'm with is willing to do the same. I'll do the best I can to make sure it's worthwhile.

I am reliable, up-beat, and thoughtful

A lot of my day is taken up with work. I was also hit pretty hard by Hurricane Irene, and somehow got put in charge of coordinating everything between our condo association, the contractors, and insurance companies. I'm really looking forward to that being done.

I've got great health, great family, and great friends, so I do consider myself blessed. If I can add a great woman to that list, I can't think of anything I'd be missing.

A lot of my time is taken up with work, I'm also involved in community service, Yay Rotary!! My club loves me. I've been in Rotary for 7 years now, and I'm still the youngest one I've met. I'm currently president of our club.

I'm really good at being given a blob of tied up information, breaking it down, and spitting it back out in an easily understandable way. And like I said above, I'm a good listener. Also, whenever I find a girlfriend I'll be almost everything that she could be looking for. I can cook, bake, clean, fix things, massage, and make roses out of chocolate.

I make an amazing friend, lover, boyfriend, or partner. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who wants me for all of the above. I'm ok with any of them, just communicate clearly so we're on the same page.

My smile. I'm almost always in a good mood.

A) A lot of Star wars books, fantasy novels, suspense, Classical lit, fitness and nutrition books.

B) movies that have a lot of explosions and/or combat. If it has the words "fight choreography" in the preview, I'll probably be happy. Comedy is also great. Both stupid comedy, and witty comedy.

c) pretty much everything but rap and country

d) I could eat Mexican, Thai or Italian every day. The only thing I don't really like is Indian food, but I'm pretty open minded in trying new things.

various "What Ifs?" You know, like "What if I went to a different college?" "What if I had someone else as a prom date?" "What if I had an older sibling instead of a younger one?" All just hypothetical, but it's a fun thought exercise. And trust me, it can take up a LOT of time.
