I am quirky, geeky, and tasty.

My Self-Summary

I'm a happy, huggy, geeky, skepticky dude. I love to make music, but I love to make food even more (ask me about Dr Pepper French Toast). I'm big on asking questions, and generally bad about providing answers. I love accountability and honesty, and I try to always take people at face value. Also, I have the coolest cat ever.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm working away as a systems administrator (Windows) at a big ol' hosting company in San Antonio. When I'm not doing that, I'm pondering life's great mysteries - you know, how to vanish a playing card and how to make a decent risotto.

I’m really good at

Aside from generating awkward silences, I think that cooking is my strongest knack right now. I love to make food, which also means that a great many food experiments asplode in my face. It happens.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm kind of a goofball, and I'm usually quite a talker. Sometimes I wish I wasn't quite a talker, but I really am quite a talker. After a while, people tend to notice that I'm severely accident-prone.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The last great book I read was THE MOON IS A HARSH MISTRESS at the behest of a friend, and it was fantastic. My favorite musical artist has been Ben Folds for a long time, and I'm big into Daft Punk right now for some reason. Don't even get me started on food. I still think the hamburger is the world's most perfect meat delivery device.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I'm constantly in search of the perfect hamburger. Currently, In-N-Out Burger is the best I've had. Do you know of one better? Also, I spend a lot of time wondering why so many people don't actually think through their beliefs. It's frustrating.

On a typical Friday night I am

Fridays are usually my low-key days. Work is exhausting, so I typically like to vegetate a bit and stare at the glow-box.
