Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I would hate to bore you by telling you how wonderful I am by
attaching to my name a bunch of flattering adjectives. I am sure
that you have already found this about a bazillion times in all the
other profiles. I believe that words are just words, but actions
speak much louder, so why bother? So, why not start with a bad or
questionable stuff – I am impulsive and restless at times, other
times I can be rather lazy. Although I know how to fix things, I
wouldn't call myself a toughguy. I watch way too much TV, some of
which can be considered chick-flick'ish, and stay up way too late
way too often. There is something about the nighttime that I find
magic, if you will, which keeps me up working or hanging out
aimlessly...which would be cool to have someone who can relate to
that. I have little patience for disingenuous/fake people – those
who never say what they mean or mean what they say, those who play
For what it's worth...I've been told by friends and coworkers that
I'm a nice, genuine and sweet guy who doesn't look my age. I am
humble, tend to be very direct and I know I have my fair share of
flaws, but I believe in living life clean and always doing the
right thing. I still feel very young at heart and still easily
relate to the 18-34 demographic even though I'm 40. When it comes
to someone I would care about, my focus would be almost to a
smothering fault...that said I would always respect a person's
space. So for the ladies out there who are actually looking for a
guy with good qualities and not just saying they are, you don't
need to look any further.
What I'm looking for..you are open minded, positive, kind and
caring. You can take a joke and are not easily offended. You can
roll with sarcasm but not get too carried away with it. You can
spell, and are generally happy. You actually mean what you say when
you say you're interested in meeting new friends and want someone
with good qualities. The rest is negotiable...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Folding as many paper airplanes as I can and throwing them randomly
all over the place while being amazed of the fact that the toilet
swirls in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere. I also
challenge myself to watch lots of TV while attempting to avoid
watching any and all "reality" shows, but sadly realizing that TV
is a reality show mine field these days.
I spend a lot of time being zen in the moment...er that's what I
call it when I'm actually simply just wasting time. Somewhere in
all that, I work for a major telecommunications company and on the
side, I'm a computer consultant. My interest in computers and
electronics have also always made me a "tech guy" or "computer guy"
to all my friends and family.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Twiddling my thumbs, zoning out or spontaneously talk about random
useless facts/topics when needed. For what actually matters, I'm a
good friend to the people in my life and my knowledge of various
things have been put to good use...I am after all the
computer/electronics guy to my friends and family.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Depends on who you ask...my coworkers tell me I look like a nice
guy and don't look my age.

I've always been a fan of pop or whatever genre of music that ends
up sounding pop'ish. I love top-40 stuff, but not all of it. And
lately I've been feeling nostalgic for '80s and '90s music.
My taste for movies tends to be fairly wide, but mostly I stick to
action, SciFi, comedies, romantic comedies, drama, but I'm not much
for horror. It's not that I'm scared of them or anything like that,
but simply that horror movies just don't entertain me.
I've been made fun of that I don't eat any food unless it's some
sort of square or preformed shape, but the truth is that I have a
fairly wide pallet of food that I'll eat. I generally stay within
the usual suspects of food types available like Mexican, Italian,
American, Chinese, Japanese, etc. I am willing to give most things
a try at least once.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why hot dogs come in packs of 10, but hot dog buns come in packs of
8...I was thinking maybe I should post a shirtless picture to show
off my 1-pack...seems the ladies here really appreciate shirtless
pictures by us guys...then maybe I can put on an Ed Hardy type
shirt, get a fake tan, comb up my hair and start fist pumping to
random club music.
But I digress...
In general, I randomly think about the moment, the past, the
present and sometimes the future if I'm not thinking about the task

I consider myself an open book, so you could ask me anything and

You're looking to make a new friend and seeing where it can go from
there. I honestly believe there's more to a person than just what
you see and read in an online profile, so I encourage people to
look beyond this and give meeting new friends a chance.
